South Haven’s events include music, food, culture, and sports year-round at various events like South Haven’s Fourth of July activities, or August’s annual Blueberry Festival. There is plenty of unique experiences no matter what time of the year you visit the South Haven cabins. Visit the South Haven cabins during the summer and you will find yourself relaxing on a boat right at Elside J-Tug Boat Rides, or Friends Good Will where guests can experience historical sails, sunset sails, and pirate chasing sails. South Haven during the winter includes a serene horse-drawn carriage at Bitter-Sweet Acres or an exciting day at the slopes in the Bittersweet Ski Area.
When staying at one of the South Haven cabins, guests can be one with nature via the town’s many possible experiences. Visit one of the local beaches like Dyckman Beach or North Beach and pay only $10 to park and enjoy an entire day of fun with the family. North Beach has a concession stand that has a bountiful selection of food such as hot dogs, Polish sausages, shredded BBQ pork sandwiches, nachos, and popcorn. There are also 16 different flavors of ice cream, as well as soft drinks, and fresh-squeezed lemonade. If you enjoy being active, rent a volleyball and net and enjoy a friendly game of volleyball with friends. If you enjoy water activities, head over to Adventure Water Sports and either rent a boat, jet ski, dinghy, pontoon, or tubes for a day of fun on the water. Guests of the South Haven cabins can enjoy other outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and horseback riding, at Lal-Haven Trail. Travel through the trail’s wooded areas and make your way through small towns and the countryside.
