Or choose the more modern appliances: Sink, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster. Antiques throughout including a vanity table and the dining table seats 6 and has a wonderful farm view!
Take a load off and relax in the sitting room with big picture window. There’s amazing scenery in every direction on our 29 acre farm. The open concept living space has plenty of windows so you can keep an eye on the country farms barn, silo and peaceful grounds that really brighten up during the autumn season.
Sleeping arrangements: King bed and full futon on main floor of the cabin. Full Bathroom shower, toilet, sink.
Guests at the Log Cabin always comment about the fun they had on the private outdoor patio and around the Bonfire pit. It was originally located on Lake Leelanau, but moved to Century Farm after the grainary burned down.
There are plenty of open spaces and wooded places to stroll through on the farm. Traverse rolling hillsides, forests, a meandering creek and nearby apple & cherry orchards. Bring your pet and wander for hours!
Since you’ll be lodging in the heart of Leelanau County, the sky’s the limit for sightseeing! Leelanau peninsula is filled with quaint towns, villages and its prized possession; the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore - named the "Most Beautiful Place in America" on ABC's Good Morning America!
Booking directly with us has many advantages. We are local experts and can make destination and events recommendations based on your group’s interests. Leland Wine & Food Festival; The annual Cherry Festival or take a ferry to South Manitou and North Manitou islands (owned by the National Park Service). Hike and bike on the new Heritage Trail or Palmer Woods trail. Leelanau County is filled with lots of quite country roads to bike and drive.
There’s so much to see in Traverse City too. Sink your toes into 180 miles of magnificent golden beach, play a round of championship golf, stop for a sip at an award-winning winery. Bring your appetite - Traverse City is a Top Five Foodie Town according to Bon Appetit magazine.

The Log Cabin in the heart of Leelanau County offers nightly (2 night minimum) reservations.
Peak Season: 6/15/19 – 9/8/19 and Memorial Day weekend
Weeknight = $185/night; Weekend (Fri-Sun) = $195/night
Off Peak Season: 5/4/19 – 6/14/19 and 9/9/19 – 11/16/19
Weeknight = $170/night; Weekend (Fri-Sun) = $185/night
Check-in is 4 pm or later. Check-out is 11 am
*Add $70 cleaning fee and MI 6% Use tax. 50% deposit via credit card is required to make a reservation. One Canine guest $15/night; two dogs $25/night. Additional sheets and bath towels are available for a $25 fee.

When we set out on our trip we decided that we wanted to stay somewhere unexpected and not be in your run of the mill hotel room. We were absolutely thrilled when we saw the photos on line and when we arrived we were so excited to see the inside. It's the perfect little cottage cozy, decorated so cute, with everything that you need. We found it completely relaxing and loved the outdoor shower the clawfoot tub inside was perfect for the end of the day. The wood burning stove was perfect for the cool fall nights. The cottage has central heat and air but we never turned it on. The owner is wonderful the place is clean and well maintained. The property is beautiful with numerous vistas. You get what you pay for and much more. I didn't want to leave. It's close enough to everything the area has to offer yet private enough that you feel like you are completely alone. Century Farm was once run as a B&B and we recently restored the barn to the Starry Night Barn & Studios. Our goal is to preserve our land and area lakes for generations to come.
