Tranquility is a modern 4-bedroom/3-bath waterfront vacation home located on Northern Michigan’s Lake Missaukee. You certainly will find tranquility as you lounge in the sitting room, living room, or deck where you can enjoy lovely views of the lake accessible by a set of stairs down to the private sandy beach. A large stone fireplace in the living area, open cathedral ceilings with skylights, wood planking throughout, and rustic wooden furniture all create that feeling of being in a relaxing log cabin getaway in the woods.
This home is perfect for family entertainment with its sandy beach and shallow water that makes a perfect swimming area even for younger children. Your own private pier allows you to dock a boat under 19 feet. A fire pit with large log seats creates an inviting space for those traditional campfire nights, so don’t forget the marshmallows..
The lower level family room features a wood burning stove, TV, and an air hockey table. The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishes, pots and pans, utensils, toaster, coffee maker, spices and separate laundry area. The Amish-style dining room table seats 10 and the counter seats 3.
Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 1 (main floor with bath) - queen bed; Bedroom 2 (main) - Full over full bunk; Bedroom 3 (lower) - queen bed : Bedroom 4 (lower) - a queen and twin beds; and a full futon and queen sofa sleeper in family room. Maximum capacity is 12.

It’s just a short drive from your Lake City cabin into town for an evening game of miniature golf with the children, or perhaps you’d like a leisurely round of golf at the Missaukee Golf Club complete with driving range, pro shop and snack bar.
Missaukee County has over 100,000 acres of wild public land with wilderness trails for off-road vehicles and hikers. Getting out into the forest for your favorite form of recreation is easy from this Northern Michigan cottage. Local streams offer excellent fishing for Brook, Brown and Rainbow trout. Bring your fishing gear for Missaukee Lake bass, Walleye, and Northern Pike angling.

Lovely and modern larger log-style house with all amenities on the lake. We had 7 adults and 3 teenagers and everyone was quite comfortable all the time. We also had a guest with special needs and the owners did all they could to help accommodate. Owner was very attentive and responsive throughout the entire pre-rental and rental process. We spent most of the time in the lake or on the jet ski and having family meals. Great kitchen / dining room / living room looking out onto deck and lake and sunsets. It's a quieter lake, so renting the jet ski for the week is highly recommended as it was always fun to use it. We all had a great trip and would certainly consider this property again if coming back to the area.
