Woodland Pines Cottage is about a mile from Upper Scott Lake, making it full of possibilities for guests who enjoy the outdoors. Sit out in the sun at the private lake access area, or get into your free canoe at the private dock to enjoy a peaceful journey around the lake.
Woodland Pines has a small but well-equipped kitchenette with many necessary amenities, minus a dishwasher. Dine inside or outside at the small dining table, the outdoor patio table, or around the fire pit just outside the cottage. After dinner, guests can enjoy a movie night with the 55” HDTV and selection of family-friendly DVDs or satellite TV service, or sit in the living area and play board or card games. Guests of all ages will find a small selection of books that can be taken outside and enjoyed with a healthy dose of fresh country air.
Sleeping arrangements: Three bedrooms with six total beds. Two bedrooms have a queen bed, and one has two sets of twin bunk beds (four total beds). There is one full ensuite bathroom and another full bathroom.

Woodland Pines Cottage has a shaded back patio with a hot tub that can hold 4 people, a seven-piece patio dining table, and a gas grill. There is also a fire pit with plenty of seating, and firewood is available for sale nearby. This home is one mile from Upper Scott Lake with private lake access and a dock designated for Woodland Pines Cottage guests. Try out our free canoe or take a trip around the lake in one of our rentable kayaks or paddleboards.

Woodland Pines Cottage is one mile from your private lake access and private dock at Upper Scott Lake. There is one free canoe available, which includes life vests and paddles. If you enjoy kayaking or paddleboarding, you can rent them with your reservation for a fun outdoor activity. Guests can swim, fish, golf, hike, and shop when they stay in this rural Michigan cottage.
Woodland Pines Cottage is surrounded by local farms that grow berries, apples, and wine grapes. Fenn Valley Vineyards is located less than 10 miles from the cottage. Wine tasting, food, and events like the Fenn Valley Wine Festival are available for all who visit Fenn Valley Vineyards.
Just a short walk from the private lake access area on Upper Scott Lake, you can explore the Rusty Rocket Brewery, run by some awesome local folks who also host area vacationers and run the Camp Channing wedding & event venue on the same lake.

We have been managing our growing group of 21 listings/17 homes in SW Michigan since 2011 and love helping people find the perfect vacation rental for their needs. As admirers of Michigan's abundant natural beauty, we hope that folks who stay in our homes come to appreciate the area as much as we do.
By a stroke of luck, we discovered our first gorgeous property on Upper Scott Lake in Lee Township over 19 years ago. Seeking to share the beauty and enjoyment of the area we'd experienced, we began renting out the cottage to others. Since then, we have added 14 more properties over the past 15 years, and we truly enjoy offering our guests a simple countryside alternative to busy city life.
