Woodland Pines Cottage is about a mile from Upper Scott Lake, making it full of possibilities for guests who enjoy the outdoors. Sit out in the sun at the private lake access area, or get into your free canoe at the private dock to enjoy a peaceful journey around the lake.
Woodland Pines has a small but well-equipped kitchenette with many necessary amenities, minus a dishwasher. Dine inside or outside at the small dining table, the outdoor patio table, or around the fire pit just outside the cottage. After dinner, guests can enjoy a movie night with the 55” HDTV and selection of family-friendly DVDs or satellite TV service, or sit in the living area and play board or card games. Guests of all ages will find a small selection of books that can be taken outside and enjoyed with a healthy dose of fresh country air.
Sleeping arrangements: Three bedrooms with six total beds. Two bedrooms have a queen bed, and one has two sets of twin bunk beds (four total beds). There is one full ensuite bathroom and another full bathroom.

Woodland Pines Cottage has a shaded back patio with a hot tub that can hold 4 people, a seven-piece patio dining table, and a charcoal grill. There is also a fire pit with plenty of seating, and firewood is available for sale nearby. This home is one mile from Upper Scott Lake with private lake access and a dock designated for Woodland Pines Cottage guests. Try out our free canoe or take a trip around the lake in one of our rentable kayaks or paddleboards.
If you’re visiting from spring through fall, look for Allegan County, Michigan farms while sightseeing.
Woodland Pines Cottage is only 10-15 minutes from Crane's Orchards & Dutch Farms where you can pick up berries, apples, wine, grapes, and other fresh local seasonal produce for your cabin!
Of course, nothing says “summer” like some good ol' lake fun! South Haven is a short 15-minute drive away and not only offers historic lighthouse and boat rentals, but also South Beach which was named 2026's "Michigan's Best Beach" by USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards!
Saugatuck, 20 minutes away, invites you to browse art galleries, dine along the riverfront, or take a dune ride. Holland, a half‑hour’s drive, charms visitors with its Dutch architecture, tulip gardens, and boutiques. Antique lovers will find treasures in the shops of Allegan and Douglas, and the nearby trails are perfect for cycling.
When the snow flies, go downhill skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, or ice skating. --No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date.

We have been managing our growing group of 22 listings/17 homes in SW Michigan since 2006 and love helping people find the perfect vacation rental for their needs. As admirers of Michigan's abundant natural beauty, we hope that folks who stay in our homes come to appreciate the area as much as we do.
By a stroke of luck, we discovered our first gorgeous property on Upper Scott Lake in Lee Township over 20 years ago. Seeking to share the beauty and enjoyment of the area we'd experienced, we began renting out the cottage to others. Since then, we have added 15 more properties over the past 20 years, and we truly enjoy offering our guests a simple countryside alternative to busy city life.
