White Oaks Haven and Woodland Pines Cottage offer dog-friendly accommodations and private outdoor spaces, making them ideal for families, friends, and your favorite furry [dog] family members. Located on five scenic, partially wooded acres, these homes provide peaceful spaces to gather, whether around the outdoor fire pits, relaxing in each hot tub, or dining al fresco on their patio or three-season porch.

White Oaks Haven is perfect for larger groups, with five bedrooms accommodating up to 12 guests (including eight adults max). Inside, a spacious, fully stocked kitchen with seating for 12 makes meal times a breeze. The cozy living area with an electric fireplace is ideal for movie nights or relaxing after a day on the lake. If you're in the mood for some friendly competition, the three-season sun porch has a foosball and air hockey table (newly upgraded in July 2024) to enjoy.

Woodland Pines Cottage, a charming three-bedroom retreat, sleeps up to eight guests (including four adults max) and offers a quaint, well-equipped kitchenette (minus a dishwasher) and outdoor grilling, dining, plus a fire pit area. It’s just a short drive to your private lake access, where you can launch a canoe or rent kayaks for an adventure around peaceful Upper Scott Lake.

With private access to Upper Scott Lake, your group can enjoy the convenience of a dock and lake amenities for both homes. You’ll have free use of our canoe, with plenty of single-person kayaks and a small handful of paddleboards available for rent, making it easy to explore the peaceful lake. After a day outdoors, unwind in each home’s hot tub or share stories around the two fire pits while you gaze at the stars.

These two homes are dog-friendly! Of course, nothing says “summer” like some good ‘ol lake fun! South Haven is a short 15-minute drive away and not only offers historic lighthouse and boat rentals, but also South Beach which was named 2026's "Michigan's Best Beach" by USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards!

Saugatuck, 20 minutes away, invites you to browse art galleries, dine along the riverfront, or take a dune ride. Holland, a half‑hour’s drive, charms visitors with its Dutch architecture, tulip gardens, and boutiques. Antique lovers will find treasures in the shops of Allegan and Douglas, and the nearby trails are perfect for cycling.

When the snow flies, go downhill skiing, sledding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, or ice skating. About the Owner/Manager

We have been managing our growing group of 22 listings/17 homes in SW Michigan since 2006 and love helping people find the perfect vacation rental for their needs. As admirers of Michigan's abundant natural beauty, we hope that folks who stay in our homes come to appreciate the area as much as we do.

By a stroke of luck, we discovered our first gorgeous property on Upper Scott Lake in Lee Township over 20 years ago. Seeking to share the beauty and enjoyment of the area we'd experienced, we began renting out the cottage to others. Since then, we have added 15 more properties over the past 20 years, and we truly enjoy offering our guests a simple countryside alternative to busy city life.
