Scott Creek Lodge, a sprawling, three-story, seven-bedroom, seven-and-a-half-bathroom vacation home with a fireplace, hot tub, rec room, screened porch, and huge deck located in Southwest Michigan, sleeps 16 guests max and comes complete with access to our private lake frontage and private boat dock located less than a mile from the house. Scott Creek Lodge enjoys private, wooded acreage with a small stream winding through the property — the perfect place to relax with friends and family near tons of outdoor recreation.
Inside, you will find the main floor outfitted with a well-appointed kitchen complete with an island, a spacious dining room, a comfortably appointed living room with an eye-catching fireplace, plus three queen bedrooms complete with one en suite and one jack-and-jill bathroom. Sit on the glass-enclosed front porch, inside the screened porch, or out on the roomy deck to enjoy the sun and fresh breezes and watch the critters scamper through the woods in the backyard.
Upstairs, you will find three queen bedrooms each with its en suite full bathroom, one kids' bedroom with 4 twin beds, and its own full en suite bathroom complete with tub/shower combo, and a stackable washer/dryer unit.
Down in the basement rec room, enjoy playing pool, air hockey, and foosball, or step outside onto the back patio and slip into the large hot tub for a little relaxation. The basement also features a half bathroom, a shower for the hot tub, a full-sized refrigerator, an extra prep sink, and a second stackable washer/dryer unit.
Sleeping arrangements: Seven bedrooms with 10 beds. Five bedrooms feature queen beds: three downstairs and two upstairs. One bedroom on the second floor includes two sets of twin beds (four total beds): one set is bunked, and the other is not. The final upstairs bedroom has one full bed.

Scott Creek Lodge has many unique amenities tailored to make your Michigan cabin vacation the best— in any season! Inside features a fireplace you can enjoy IN the living room and OUT on the screened porch. The basement hosts a game room with a 65" HDTV for watching the latest Big Game, and a pool, foosball, and air hockey table for playing your own. Just outside the game room, you will find an 8-person hot tub just waiting for you to soak away the stress of the day. Just off the great room on the main floor, you'll find a large deck featuring an outdoor dining space that looks out over the backyard and wooded area beyond. Near the kitchen on the main floor, you can access our well-appointed screened porch with lounge seating and another small dining set. We have a permanent fire pit with ample seating for 16 guests in the backyard. We even provide free use of our canoe for fishing or exploring nearby Upper Scott Lake! Kayaks are also available for daily or weekly rental, for a nominal fee.

This multistory Lee Township vacation rental is less than a mile away from its private lake access to Upper Scott Lake where you can enjoy fishing or paddling in kayaks or canoes. You can also bring motorized boats (ask us about size limitations) for lots of water-based recreation.
Nearby Attraction: South Haven is a short 15-minute drive away and offers much to do, including South Beach which was named 2026's "Michigan's Best Beach" by USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards!

Saugatuck, 20 minutes away, invites you to browse art galleries, dine along the riverfront, or take a dune ride. Holland, a half‑hour’s drive, charms visitors with its Dutch architecture, tulip gardens, and boutiques. Antique lovers will find treasures in the shops of Allegan and Douglas, and the nearby trails are perfect for cycling.

CANCELLATIONS:

--Cancellations made between 31 and 59 days prior to the check-in date will receive 50 percent of the deposit amount less a $150.00 Processing Fee.
--No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 30 days of the check-in date.

We have been managing our growing group of 22 listings/17 homes in SW Michigan since 2006 and love helping people find the perfect vacation rental for their needs. As admirers of Michigan's abundant natural beauty, we hope that folks who stay in our homes come to appreciate the area as much as we do.
By a stroke of luck, we discovered our first gorgeous property on Upper Scott Lake in Lee Township over 20 years ago. Seeking to share the beauty and enjoyment of the area we'd experienced, we began renting out the cottage to others. Since then, we have added 15 more properties over the past 20 years, and we truly enjoy offering our guests a simple countryside alternative to busy city life.
