The Lucky Duck Cottage: Opened April 2023, Lucky Duck Cottage is a fully remodeled ranch-style retreat offering three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and an additional 1/2 bath. Step into an inviting open floor plan, seamlessly blending the kitchen and dining areas with the expansive picture-windowed living and lounge spaces. Enjoy your favorite classic movies on our 43" and 55" HD satellite-connected TVs or indulge in family-friendly DVD entertainment. Gather around the smaller table for card games, board games, or arts and crafts, all while basking in the natural light streaming through the massive windows overlooking the backyard. Unwind in the outdoor hot tub, savor drinks with friends by the fire table on the back deck, or savor a delightful meal around the backyard patio dining set.

Hawk's Haven: Gleaming on the eastern shore of Upper Scott Lake, Hawk's Haven is a splendid ranch-style vacation home. Its expansive backyard boasts an ideal space for outdoor games with a fire pit and ample seating. Private lake access awaits, complete with a dock and canoe for your enjoyment. Hawk's Haven showcases seven bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and a well-appointed recreation room. The magnificent great room steals the show with its floor-to-ceiling lake-facing windows. Take in the breathtaking lakefront panorama while relishing the well-equipped kitchen with island seating and mini-fridge, cozy living room lounge area with a 55" satellite TV and DVD player, charming breakfast/gaming table for four, and expansive dining table. The lakefront deck offers outdoor seating with a gas grill, and the screened porch with an 8-piece dining set features a ceiling fan and can lighting perfect for rainy-day gatherings. The rec room is your hub for indoor entertainment, with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, media lounge area with comfortable leather seating, and another 55" TV.

Sleeping arrangements: 10 bedrooms; 14 total beds. Hawk's Haven has 7 bedrooms, including 5 queen bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, and 1 kids' bedroom with 2 sets of twin bunk beds (4 total beds). Lucky Duck Cottage has 3 bedrooms with 3 total beds (all queen). One queen bedroom has an ensuite bathroom.

Please note that our docks, watercraft, and outdoor dining furniture are unavailable from late October to mid-April. However, our hot tub is available year-round.

Note: Our docks, watercraft, and outdoor dining furniture are not available from late Oct to mid-Apr. Our hot tub is always available, even in the winter.

We have been managing our growing group of 22 listings/17 homes in SW Michigan since 2006 and love helping people find the perfect vacation rental for their needs. As admirers of Michigan's abundant natural beauty, we hope that folks who stay in our homes come to appreciate the area as much as we do.

By a stroke of luck, we discovered our first gorgeous property on Upper Scott Lake in Lee Township 20 years ago. Seeking to share the beauty and enjoyment of the area we'd experienced, we began renting out the cottage to others. Since then, we have added 16 more properties over the years, and we truly enjoy offering our guests a simple countryside alternative to busy city life.
