A short drive gets you to several unique shops and restaurants. The Historical Society Museum has artifacts dating back to the 1800’s. Most unique are the beautiful sunrises of Michigan's sunrise side.
Summer activities include a walleye tournament and a Venetian Festival, featuring an after dark lighted boat parade. We recommend a trip to Big Charity Island, home to a multitude of wildlife species including neo-tropical songbirds, bald eagles, raccoons, and more.
