This quaint cottage has beautiful views of all the summer entertainment right from the comfort of the front deck and sun porch. No matter what the weather, you'll enjoy your own relaxing spot to kick back and unwind. It's just a short 5-minute walk up to the downtown area with lots of places to explore and local dining options. Across the street are the local park with public beach access and a pier. The cottage is clean and modern on the inside with its beach house vibe. You’ll love the clean white walls, gleaming wood floors, and marine blue decorating theme of this sweet cozy home. The living room has a cable-connected TV so you can lay back and enjoy your favorite movies and shows. There is also free Wi-Fi. The 1200 sq. ft. home has two bedrooms, one bath, and a separate dining room. It sleeps seven and is a great fit for families. However, parking is limited to four cars maximum. The fully furnished kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware, and cooking utensils. The dining room table seats four, with two more at bistro table. Or enjoy eating breakfast or dinner out on the sun porch's patio table for four, or the deck's bistro table. There are lots of places to spread out and enjoy a favorite home-cooked meal, or make one table your game table! You can even grill out on the charcoal grill and serve up your vacation favorites. It’s just a short drive to the Tawas Point State Park. Take a tour of the Victorian-era Tawas Point Lighthouse and learn about the traditional crafts of the era such as weaving, spinning, and woodcarving. Take a 2-mile hike on the nature trail or sign up for a guided hike. This part of the lake is also a popular ice-fishing spot during the winter.
Bring your golfing gear and play a round at the Red Hawk Golf Course. This classically designed golf course utilizes the natural undulation of the landscape on the sunrise side of Michigan. Its bent grass fairways and greens wander through the woods providing abundant scenic beauty.
