This spacious vacation rental is over 3,200 square feet with knotty pine interior and a massive gas fireplace. Make home cooked meals in the kitchen. We even have two refrigerators so you can store all the food you need. For outdoor entertainment, enjoy the horseshoe pit and an outdoor fire pit.
Sleeping arrangements: bedroom #1 on main floor (1 king), bedroom #2 (1 full), bedroom #3 (1 full), bedroom #4 in the upstair loft area (1 full) and bedroom #5 in the upstairs loft area (3 full). 5 car parking maximum.
Inside you will find a sauna for 6 and a jacuzzi tub. The loft area is a great space to play cards and the downstairs has a poker table. The spacious living area, kitchen, dining area, etc, offers plenty of room for up to 14 guests.
The outdoor activities around this property are endless. Take a nature walk where you can catch and release at the pond and watch wildlife such as coyotes, fox, squirrels and perhaps bear! Hunting is not allowed on this property but there is a federal hunting land nearby. Since you book with us here at Perfect Landing, we can offer our local knowledge so your group enjoys all that the Huron National Forest and Tawases have to offer.
This area is right along Lake Huron and protected Tawas Bay. Plenty of shops, fishing opportunities, hiking trails, golf courses, ski trails, ATV trails, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and so much more! Explore the arts and culture by checking out the musical and theater productions. Also nearby wineries and weekly famers markets.
Grab a canoe & paddle and explore the majestic and breath-taking AuSable River! Spend a day on the beach and choose between Tawas Point State Park, East Tawas Use Park, Gateway Park, Shoreline Park and Harbor Park. Take advantage of the nearby Corsair Trail; a 44 mile groomed tail system used for hiking, running, snowshoeing, and skiing depending upon the season.
A historical landmark located in the Tawas Point State Park is the lighthouse. They offer tours six days a week and open from May through September. The 70 foot lighthouse rests on a 200 acre peninsula in the southeast Tawas bay. A must see!
