Northern Escape in Oscoda, MI, is a sprawling estate with private beach frontage on Lake Huron. This modern, six-bedroom getaway is settled on a small patch of grassy lawn that fades quickly into sandy shoreline.
The main home entrance leads into a simple living area with lounge seating and a TV/computer desk area. Walk straight through the living room and you’ll find yourself in a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances and a breakfast bar.
The formal dining room includes a family-style table with chairs for six, and a wall of full-length windows looks out at the lawn and the lake. The main home is roughly 1,100 square feet and includes guest laundry, cable TV, Wi-Fi and central air.
The Northern Escape property also houses two smaller cabins that measure about 450 square feet each. The cabins include a living area with a TV and futon, a kitchenette and a full bath. The cabins are also equipped with cable, Wi-Fi and central air.

Scenic nature trails wind through the area, making it the perfect vacation spot for hikers, bikers and snowmobilers. The Corsair Trail is a 44-mile nature trail that is maintained year-round for seasonal sports. The Tawas Bike Path is another local favorite, which travels alongside the lake and ends up at the historic lighthouse at Tawas Point State Park.
