Wren Roost is one of three duplex cottages at NettieBay Lodge. This one-bedroom vacation home is settled on a level, grassy lot with tall trees on one end of the property and scenic lake views on the other. Enjoy the paved patio and the on-property boat docks!
This cottage has been newly renovated, with a fully furnished, modern kitchen and a cozy sitting room on the ground floor. The living room includes comfortable seating and a recessed wall-mounted TV screen. This main area also opens out to the paved patio on the lake-facing side.
Wren Roost shares a private dock with its neighboring cabin, The Finch. This cabin rental also includes a 14-foot fishing boat, a picnic table, two Adirondack lounge chairs, and a barbecue grill.
Sleeping arrangements: Wren Roost has a single bedroom with a queen-sized bed. There is also a daybed and a full-length sofa in the main living area.
Guests to our duplex cottage Wren Roost on Lake Nettie will have full access to luxury resort amenities, including onsite boat and motor rentals, our resort convenience store (with firewood, boat fuel, bait, snacks and more), a children’s play area and a sand-bottom swim area.
NettieBay Lodge in northern Michigan is located in a hotspot of outdoor adventure activity and scenic views among Michigan’s dense forestry and many beautiful lakes.
The resort enjoys a quiet spot on all-sports Lake Nettie, where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, boating and watersports. We encourage guests to bring canoes, kayaks, jet-skis and stand-up paddle boards to explore the grassy shoreline and wildlife views around the lake.
Wren Roost cottage also offers easy access to miles of scenic nature trails, open year-round to hiking and biking, cross-country skiing, ATVs and snowmobiles.
NettieBay Lodge offers some unique seasonal activities for group trips and events, including guided whitetail deer, grouse and woodcock, and Michigan predator hunting trips.
We also have spring skills classes available to guests in stone masonry, wilderness photography, split bamboo rod-making, and birding.

Cabins at NettieBay Lodge offer a 4:00 pm check-in time, with check-out scheduled for 10:00 am.
A non-refundable deposit of $300.00 is required to reserve your cabin
Balance is due upon arrival.
One boat is included with each cabin rental. Motors and fuel are available for an additional fee.

The frogs at NettieBay Lodge are numerous and the campfire was delightful. Frog catching with Alicia was so fun and it provided us with laughs to last a long time. All the Great Blue Herons will leave memories that will last even longer! Departing is never easy, but we’ll be back next year! — Emily
