This carefully restored 1920s-era cottage is peaceful and inviting with a large front porch and private yard. Interior living spaces are vintage cottage and include a beautifully decorated front porch and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and two full baths with central air conditioning a/c.
Guests will love the homey touches at this charming cottage, such as the antique blue oven in the kitchen, wood floors and many windows that let in beams of warm, natural light. A stacked washer and dryer can be found in one bathroom, and a convenient changing table in the other.
Sleeping arrangements: The cottage has three private bedrooms, as well as a twin-sized day bed and a twin-sized trundle bed in the screen porch. The master suite features a full/queen-sized bed and connected bath. The second bedroom is furnished with a full-sized bed and the third bedroom has one full-sized bed and one twin-sized bed. A Pack-n-Play is available.
As part of the Coles Park Beach Association in Spring Lake, Michigan, this cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood just four houses down from the beach. Guests have access to a paddle boat and outdoor tables and chairs provided by the association. This home also offers a gas grill for outdoor cooking and dining on the adorable and private backyard patio.
In addition to the local beach on Spring Lake, this family cottage is conveniently located just a short drive away from one of Lake Michigan’s most beautiful beaches at Grand Haven State Park. Grand Haven is a great place to spend the day, with unique shops and dining and a scenic walking path along the waterfront.
The home’s proximity to both Spring Lake and Lake Michigan (it’s only ten minutes from the cottage door to the north shore) provides guests with easy access to swimming, fishing and a public boat launch. Other local attractions include the Michigan Adventure and Waterpark (25 minutes away) and the Spring Lake Country Club (3 minutes away).
There are also a number of exciting local festivals and events, such as the Ottawa County Fair (come for rides, food, live music and a rodeo) in late July; the Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival; the International Festival of Holland in mid-August; or the Hudsonville Monster Truck Show. Base rates at this three-bedroom cottage are based on a standard occupancy of 6 overnight guests. Additional guests will incur an additional fee of $20 per person per day, with a maximum capacity of 8. A small family discount of $200 is available for groups of 3 or fewer.
A dog will be considered on a case-by-case basis. A damage deposit of $250 is required for pets, in addition to a $40 daily rate.
Check in is scheduled for 4:00 pm with check out at 11:00 am. Alternate times can be arranged in advance. Missed check times will incur a fee of $25 per hour.100% refund if canceled at least 90 days before arrival date. 89-60 days forfeits 75%, 59-30days forfeits 80%, 3 weeks or less forfeits 100%

We had a fabulous family vacation at this charming cottage! The cottage is very clean and has been lovingly restored. The beach and lake were perfect for the days that we didn't venture out to Lake Michigan. We happened to be there during a very humid and hot Michigan week so we also appreciated the modern convenience of the central AC available at this cottage. The Coles Park cottage at Spring Lake is a wonderful "home away from home" vacation that you can take the whole family to, pets included! So close to Grand Haven and Muskegon where access to Lake Michigan is easy! The cottage is on a nice quiet street, the private beach just steps away. There is a nature walk path very close by, (within walking distance) and plenty of great restaurants and play parks nearby. Fishing on Spring Lake was surprisingly delicious with plenty of places to drop your line. Sand dunes, Great Lakes, State Parks, Fishing and Dining - this place has it all nearby! The Coles park cottage @ Spring lake is a clean, well renovated space on a quiet street on spring lake. The cottage is well appointed, has plenty of sleeping room, and nice spacious kitchen, dining and living areas. The porch is a wonderful evening and early morning spot and includes a day bed. Perhaps the best thing about cottage is its location itself. It is steps from the best beach on spring lake. The kids played in the water nearly all day long (marked off swim area, very safe for young ones), easy kayak access for older kids, and we finished each day with a game of baseball on the beach.
