The home sits up between the trees, with a cleared walkway leading down to a custom-built wooden platform with a bench near the sand — perfect sunning in the open air.
The exterior of this six-person Lake Michigan getaway features natural stone and a shaded deck on the lake-facing side that is furnished with lounge chairs, an outdoor fire pit, a grill and a table with chairs for six for dining al fresco. This rental home has plenty of space for off-street parking and multiple vehicle, trailer or boat storage.
Inside, the Hidden Lake Michigan Beach Chalet is open and full of natural light from wide, two-story windows. The main living area features unique lines and spaces such as an angular staircase leading to a loft in the A-frame and a breakfast bar with a window into the modern, fully equipped and spacious kitchen. This home includes laundry, a game room, a fireplace and a sauna.
Sleeping arrangements: One main-level bedroom is furnished with two twin-sized beds; the second has a queen-sized bed; a sleeping area is located on the second story loft and also offers a queen-sized bed.
Hidden Lake Michigan Beach Chalet makes great use of its private water frontage and large wooded lot with varied scenic and comfortable outdoor lounge spaces. At this lakefront cabin, you can choose your level of interaction with nature, from the cozy indoor sitting room next to the picture windows (enjoy the views in perfect climate-controlled relaxation) to the shaded deck (enjoy the fresh air but avoid the sunburn) to the raised sun platform (bask in the rays and the sound of the waves) to the clean sandy beach (put your toes right in the surf).
Lake Michigan is a great place to wade, swim, fish, boat and play — build a sandcastle or spend a quiet hour searching for smooth beach stones. This is an all-sports lake with nearby equipment rentals and guided charter fishing trips. Hidden Lake Michigan Beach Chalet is also located an easy distance from the smaller and calmer Portage Lake, as well as a short drive from the highly rated Arcadia Bluffs golf course, downtown dining and shopping in Onekama and Manistee, and the local casino.

Hidden Lake Michigan Beach Chalet rents for a base fee of $500.00 per night. Final rates will include an additional $110.00 cleaning fee, as well as Michigan state taxes and usage fees.
A refundable damage deposit of $350.00 is required to reserve the cabin. Check in is available starting at 3:00 pm, with check out scheduled for 11:00 am.
Deposits canceled within 48 hours of booking are fully refundable. Cancellations made a minimum of seven days prior to the check-in date will receive a 50 percent refund less a service fee.

Our family had a wonderful week in this home. The property is beautiful, designed to appreciate the lake totally. You would only need clothes, toiletries and food. Shopping is maybe a pretty 10 min ride, but simple things are available closer. Plenty of things to go and do, but we stayed at the house for 3 of the days and were very happy.
