Walk-out basement on the lakeside, dining table seats eight. Open concept living! The dining room and kitchen opens up to the spacious living room with an entertainment center. Your surrounded by Northwoods rustic charm thanks to the paneled tongue & groove aspen walls. Downstairs is a second living room along with a flat screen tv, satellite remote and DVD player.
We have all your meal preparation covered! Large refrigerator, electric range, K-cup and drip coffee make, microwave, electric kettle for tea, slow cooker, waffle maker, utensils, and variety of spices - this home is well stocked. Our guests love the walk-in pantry with assortment of chef appliances. You didn’t come here to cook every meal though -- there are several specialty restaurants to try.
Sleeping arrangement: 4 queen beds, 1 double bed, and 3 twin beds. All rooms have ceiling fans and pure cotton sheets. Master bedroom and 2 other bedrooms features a lake view. The 4th bedroom (largest) is downstairs has a queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a double bed.

If you like to bike but don’t want to pack your bikes, we can get you set up with bike or ATV rentals from the Ferry docks in Munising.
Visit Munising and Manistique! They are both under 30 minutes. Hunt for agate rocks on Lake Superior one day, then relax on a Lake Michigan beach the next! Paddle to the rock arches and sea caves at Pictured Rocks. Guests love all the waterfalls in the area - Mosquito Falls, Mosquito River, Chapel Rock, Chapel Falls are just a few.

Spring rates run from May to just before Memorial weekend at $275/night or $1650/week.
Summer rates run from Memorial weekend to after Labor Day at $2550/wk, Saturday to Saturday.
Fall rates run from After Labor Day Week to end of October at $275/night or $1640/week.
Holidays may increase the nightly rate and require a longer stay.
Rates are based on 8 guests including children; each additional guest adds $150 per stay.
Add $275 for cleaning.
One-half of the total rental amount is due upon reservation. A refundable security/damage fee is required to hold the cabin. Check-in 5 P.M. and check-out 10:00 A.M.
Cancellations of summer rentals (June through August) will receive no refund after May 1.
Cancellations during all other times of the year will receive a refund less a cancellation fee up to 45 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Cancellations made within 45 days of the scheduled arrival date may not be refunded unless we are able to rebook the property.

This house is perfectly named -it really is heaven. Comfortable, well-equipped, well-organized, and on a wonderful lakeside location. We enjoyed using the fire pit and visits to Pictured Rocks and Kitch-iti-ippi (I think that's spelled wrong) spring. The lake is great for swimming and boating. Lisa at Hiawatha's Hideaway was terrific in recommending and helping us book this at short notice. Great management and great property. Amy
Our second visit to this beautiful lake house. So peaceful and relaxing! Plenty of room for us, our son and his new family. The teens love their own space downstairs!! And, of course, the Wi-Fi. Lisa and Tom are very welcoming and willing to go that extra mile to ensure an enjoyable vacation. As for the lake - Gorgeous star lit midnight canoe rides are highly recommended! And, the fishing was excellent. Bass,pike, blugill and perch. All caught right off the dock! I can't recommend this house enough. Unless you're trying to take "our week" not happening! Pam McCoy
We think our week in "Heaven" was our nicest vacation ever and we are planning a return visit in the next year or two. After a whole week, we were not ready to come home. There were many more things we wanted to see and do, but we also had the most relaxing vacation ever. I can't tell you how many hours we spent on the deck just looking at the beautiful scenery and all kinds of wildlife. We had a perfect mix of sight-seeing and quiet time at the house. Tom and Lisa couldn't have been more accommodating and are a big reason we plan to return. We had all the comforts of home and everything was clean and comfortable.
