Welcome to Cozy Home 2, a snug and relaxing lakefront cabin with its own private pathway from your door down to the waters of Saginaw Bay. With simple self check-in and comfortable accommodations, you can settle in and unwind at your own pace.
This cabin is surrounded by nature, offering frequent wildlife sightings, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and easy access to outdoor adventures—watersports on the bay, fishing, hunting in season, or evenings gathered around a bonfire. It’s a peaceful retreat where you can truly disconnect.
Take in the fresh Up North Michigan air as you enjoy the view where Lake Huron meets wooded shoreline and open sky. As night falls, sit by the firepit listening to the crackle of burning wood and admiring the stars above and their reflection across the bay, then head inside to rest in the cozy living area and inviting bedrooms.
Cozy Home 2 features a fully equipped kitchen, dining space, and a deck with a barbecue grill, making it easy to cook and share meals together. Enjoy slow mornings with coffee on the deck, listen for birds and other wildlife, and soak up the calm atmosphere that surrounds the cabin.
Here, Michigan’s four seasons all shine. Picture summer evenings in a paddle boat under the stars, watching fish and turtles move in the glow of a spotlight, or winter nights walking across the frozen lake, shining a light through the ice to see fish below. Your hosts fell in love with these rare moments and look forward to sharing them with you.
Located along the shores of Lake Huron in a quiet rural neighborhood, Cozy Home 2 is just minutes from town yet away from traffic and noise. Arenac County Beach and its 900-foot sandy shoreline are less than a mile away. Free parking is available on site, and you’re approximately 12 miles from Standish and 21 miles from East Tawas.

Our week presented a mix of weather conditions, but overall, it was enjoyable. Recent trends of warmer temperatures and lower water levels have decelerated the duck migration for this period. While the hunting was moderate, our stay was exceptional. We relished delicious meals, breathtaking views from the deck, and cherished moments with loved ones. The hospitality here is unparalleled, and we always feel warmly welcomed. Many thanks, Ron, for your outstanding hosting.
