Enjoy the panoramic view of Wolf Lake and the large sandy beach. Cottage 2 has a cozy living room and furnished kitchen. Tired of cooking? Check out many local restaurants. For outdoor entertainment at the cabin, we provide a dock, fire pit, picnic table, and grill. Kids and adults alway have a blast on the beach. (The sand is a firm with a gradual drop off). We want our guests to feel comfortable, so we provide clean cottages that are smoke and pet free.
"Affordable Family Cottages” is a family owned two cottage resort. Have more than 6 guests? Rent out both cottages (they're right next to each other). Cottage 2 sleeping arrangements: 2 bedrooms with one full sized bed each. In the living room is a hide-a-bed.
Wolf Lake has a no wake ordinance before 11 am and after 7:30pm. We recommend fishing at this time! During the day however, you can boat, water ski, etc. A rowboat and paddle boat are provided with the cottage. You also can bring your own boat (there is a public launch on the other side of the lake).
Wolf lake is a crystal clear spring fed lake. Fish right from the dock. Typical fish in Wolf Lake include: Blue-gill, sunfish, perch, large mouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and bullheads.
Our guests love to bird watch. Recently there was a sighting of a bald eagle soaring around the lake. Many guests also have spotted green herons!
The beach is just steps from the cottage. Take in the view, relax, and unwind.
Head to town and check out the Lakeshore Museum Center, the Muskegon Museum of Art, the USS Silversides Submarine Museum and the Frauenthal Theater.

Available to rent by the week from June through September. We rent them from Saturday at 3pm to the following Saturday at 10am. The rates and minimums are as follows:
Memorial Weekend - $500
Week of Fourth of July ($700 minimum) - $900
Labor Day Weekend - $500
Weekly rate for months of June and September ($550 minimum) - $825 (includes taxes)
