Hi, I’m Amanda Krigner, and I’m from Michigan. I have wanted to host for years, and when we finally found The Dragonfly, I knew we had found a place worth sharing. That first cottage gave us everything I love about Northern Michigan: lake time, space for families to gather, easy trips into Bellaire, and room for dogs to be part of the vacation too. I love dogs, so creating a stay where furry friends can run, swim, nap, and have their own Up North adventure has been one of my favorite parts of hosting.
Now I’m excited to also welcome guests to The Monarch, our lakefront cabin on Lance Lake in Wolverine. Between The Dragonfly and The Monarch, my goal is simple: help guests slow down and enjoy real Michigan vacation time, whether that means boating, fishing, kayaking, campfires, fall color tours, cider tasting, skiing, snowshoeing, golfing, or day trips to places like Torch Lake, Petoskey, Charlevoix, Mackinac Island, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City. I want every stay to feel comfortable, easy, and personal — the kind of place where you unpack, look at the water, and immediately know you made the right call.
