Here’s a lake retreat with lots of room! 3 stories, 2500 square feet facing a Private beach on beautiful. Enjoy swimming , Kayaking, Canoeing and Fishing .... the fishing is great! The lake is a sand bottom lake with a gentle slope for the young ones to safely play in the water ... if you are up for it .... swim out to the swimming and have a blast! Watch the sun light up the beach every morning from the huge deck or patio swing next to the gardens (both are great places for breakfast outside). The front yard is perfect for games like bag toss, bocce ball and croquet, and the patio picnic table is the perfect place for outdoor meals and snacks. Lake 21 is 30 minutes from Kalamazoo, 15 minutes from Hastings and 45 from Grand Rapids. The lake is a very quiet lake, so you can enjoy the water and peaceful side of Southwest Michigan while being close to city life.
Step inside and be greeted by hardwood floors, an open concept main living area, and a lake view. The cozy stone fireplace in the living room will quickly rid any chill if you plan on visiting during cooler months. Furnished kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, toaster, stove, refrigerator) has an island. Plus the dining table seats 12. The carpeted lower level has a pool table, lots of lounging furniture, reading materials, fireplace and patio with a great lake view
Sleeping arrangement: 1 Queen bed, 2 Full size beds and 7 Twin beds. Call dibs on the main floor bedroom because it has a deck and lake view:) The upstairs bedrooms has floor space for a queen size blowup mattress too.
Our circle drive allows easy access for everyone in your group. We rent a family oriented Michigan vacation home where peace and quiet, a good night's sleep, and quality time are the backdrop to vacation memories. If you want to take in some regional activity, we are not far from the Urban Life. Since you book directly with us (Randy and Ceci) we can share our local knowledge so every age can experience Barry County.
Nearby Kalamazoo, MI offers The Kalamazoo Valley Museum, Kalamazoo Nature Center, Farmer's Market, Farmers Alley Theatre, Kalamazoo River Valley Trail, Boatyard Brewing Company, Lawton Ridge Winery, Gift & Specialty Shops, Sky Zone Kalamazoo, Garden House Antiques. Gull Lake Golf complex is 20 minutes away and has 5 of SW Michigan best courses. Just let us know what you like to do!
Grilling out at the cottage is a summer tradition! We have a gas grill is available. Bring some fishing tackle and try for a Largemouth Bass off your private dock. You can get to the dock from the beach or down the steps from the cottage. Grab a chair and your favorite beverage and watch the kids at the beach which has a gradual incline - safe for small children. If you prefer the shade, you can still enjoy the sand by putting a beach chair under the willow trees. When the sun sets, the lakefront is still the place to be. Cabin time here means S’mores at the campfire after dark. Stargazing from the beach is spectacular.
Guests have visited State recreation areas and the nearby casino. Hastings, MI is 15 minutes from your private cottage on the lake. Ask us about nearby hiking! The hiking trails through the hills, woods and wetlands at Sweezy’s Pond is rustic. Carter Lake Preserve also in Hastings, has rustic trials.
Let your exploration of Barry County begin! There are many other area lakes to explore too: Larger Long Lake has a public boat launch, Guernsey Lake, Head Lake, Horseshoe Lake are small quiet lakes.

Perfect cottage on gorgeous property. Had a guys weekend here. Nice private lake for kayak, canoe, fishing, and swimming. Had some great bonfires and grilled out. Spacious house, very private property. This place has everything you need for a relaxed but fun weekend. Lots of great things to do in the area but we didn’t want to leave the lake much. Grandkids(two 4 year olds and one 1 year old) loved the beach. Very private lake and surroundings. Great swimming for the family and fishing for the Dads. Roomy 3 level with great first floor wooden deck overlooking the lake. No air conditioning so 4 of the nights were tough sleeping especially on the upper level with high heat indexes/ high humidity. Plenty of fans kept it comfortable for most of the nights. Wi-Fi was sometimes unpredictable and only a few local TV channels available on the rainy days. As always the Hayes' delivered on a fantastic family vacation. This is the third year in a row we visited this Delton lake home and again we were not disappointed. You truly only need to pack your clothes. Everything and more is supplied at this cottage. Games, toys, and beauty! Owners do an outstanding job of keeping this property clean and inviting. We enjoyed the swimming, the fishing, the surroundings of the cottage, and the cottage itself. It has everything you are looking for in a vacation spot. House is well furnished, spacious and clean. Owners are courteous and welcoming. Good price for a very nice place.
This property was the epitome of a quiet, relaxing vacation. The lake is small, but plenty big for kayaking or canoeing. Set back off the busy roads, it is so peaceful. The cottage is very good size and there is room for all. We used it to celebrate an anniversary with our grown children and their families. Ceci & Randy are gracious, and make sure you are well taken care of. Take note, there is only one TV, and it only receives one local channel, but it is refreshing to get away from the daily news reports, and the general push of day to day life. They do offer wifi, so you can watch a movie or so. If you like to fish, the lake is great for that also. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. For those who like to sightsee, there are some wonderful places to visit that are not too far away. Ie. Kellogg manor, Gilmore car museum, etc. All in all , we would recommend this property for a great getaway. Zeeland, Mi.
Our sons & their families spent the week with us at White Oak Point Lake Cottage. We loved being on the lake where we could walk out the door & down to the beach. Our sons really got into fishing for the first time & so enjoyed themselves along with our grandchildren. We had plenty of room to spread out with several options for sleeping arrangements because of the all beds available. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pans, bowls, glasses, tableware & silverware for our large clan. Thank you Randy & Ceci for a great vacation!! Tom & Becky
We were very comfortably settled. The house was nice and clean when we arrived. It took us 2 days to get Internet working though as well as telephone and TV. That was a nuisance!!! The overall experience was great!! Brazil
This cottage is exactly as advertised and we were very pleased. Every detail was taken care of and Randy was a perfect host. There are very few cottages on the lake so it is very peaceful. The beach is amazing and it's an easy swim out to the floating dock. The town of Hastings is only 10 minutes away where you can get anything you want. We highly recommend this property! LONDON
What a wonderful, relaxing week! The house and it's surroundings were even better than the pictures. Our kids are 16 & 10 and loved the beach and fishing. The house had everything we needed and more!
