At Pictured Rocks Yurts, we believe in the freedom of self-sufficiency. While you're responsible for your own sleeping bag, personal items, and cookware, our onsite store is stocked with essentials like firewood, charcoal, and ice, ensuring that your stay is as seamless as possible.
With amenities such as electricity, lighting, and Wi-Fi access, we seamlessly blend modern comforts with the timeless allure of the great outdoors. Whether you're lounging by the campfire, exploring the nearby trails, or simply soaking in the breathtaking views of Lake Superior, every moment at Pictured Rocks Yurts is an adventure waiting to unfold.
In our 16-foot yurts, you'll find a bunk bed featuring a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top, along with a futon that transforms into an additional double bed, comfortably accommodating up to 5 guests. For those opting for our 20-foot yurts, there are two bunk beds with double beds on the bottom and single beds on top, as well as a futon, providing sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests.
Kayaking and canoeing along the stunning Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore provide breathtaking views of colorful sandstone cliffs and hidden sea caves. For those seeking a more leisurely experience, paddleboarding offers a tranquil way to explore the crystal-clear waters of the lake.
