Timber Town is a cozy one-bedroom lodge located steps away from beautiful West Twin Lake. This spacious cottage enjoys a wooded setting next to the resort office that is only open on Saturday mornings for a couple of hours so it is very private. It has it's own crushed stone patio with teak furniture, fire ring, picnic table, and both charcoal and gas Weber grills. The bathroom is newly renovated with a full tub and shower. The kitchen, dining and family room is open concept for maximum family gathering and enjoyment.

The interior of the cabin is decorated in a rustic hunting lodge style, with comfortable furniture and original knotty panelling through out. The living area includes a leather sofa and ottoman, a reclining chair, reading lamps and a flat screen TV. The eat-in kitchen contains a table and chairs for four and a fully equipped kitchen.

Sleeping arrangements: Timber Town cottage features a single bedroom furnished with two full-sized beds. The sofa in the living room also pulls out into a full-sized bed.

Unique Features

Along with personal cabin amenities and a picturesque locale, Timber Town cabin offers guests access to an arsenal of exciting resort amenities — beautiful West Twin Lake is steps away with a nice sandy beach front, hard bottom (no muck) protected swimming area, large docks with seating, and floating tiki barge. All cabins have access to the docks, grills and fire pits, and the complimentary row boat, and canoes...guests can fill their days with nature, adventure and tons of warm-weather fun. The resort also offers onsite rentals for outboard motors to kick your fishing trips into a higher gear.

Things To Do

Twin Lakes Shore Resort is the ideal setting for seasonal outdoor activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, jet skis and tubing — and much more. Settle into a bench by the water or on the floating tiki barge and watch the sunset over the lake, or enjoy a family game of basketball or volleyball on free outdoor courts.

The wilderness area around the resort and Lewiston, MI, is a popular destination for morel mushroom hunting in the spring or grouse hunting in the fall. The region is also traversed by rivers and world-class trout streams. Other game fish to be found in local waters include tiger musky, northern pike, walleye, bass and perch.

Nature lovers can scan the skies for eagles and loons, or keep an eye on the woods for deer and elk. Trails surround the resort, offering miles and miles of scenic pathways for hiking, mountain biking and ATVs. Twin Lakes Shore Resort is also located just a mile west of downtown Lewiston — peruse the local taverns, diners and shops, or plan a day trip to Traverse City or Mackinac Island.
