This West Twin Lake Cottage is classic in every way possible. An open floor plan features a large kitchen/dining area combined with a family room gathering area...with two all weather porches, knotty paneling, lots of windows, sleeping porch, outdoor-inspired decorations inside. The newly renovated kitchen features hickory cabinets with a built in breakfast bar. There is a large 6 person dining table as well.
It’s not cabin time at Twin Lakes Shore Resort until you fire up the outdoor charcoal grill and relax at the private picnic table and nearby fire pit. Watch for Eagles flying overhead and listen for the fascinationg sojnds of loons on the lake. With free row boats, paddle boats, kayaks - it won’t be long before your family is vacationing lakeside. Wait until you see the a large dock and floating tiki barge attached! Our Northern Michigan cottages have heat and TV reception just in case you need a break from the outdoors :)

Twin Lakes Shore Resort has cottages in all shapes, sizes and locations! Alpine Chalet offers guests lake view. We get our guests off to a good start to their Lewiston, MI vacation: Once per week we supply linens, bath towels, and the first day supply of paper products and soap. Guests who are lucky enough to enjoy a full week on the lake will need additional paper products, beach towels, soap, trash bags, and food and beverages.

The newly remodeled Twin Lakes Shore Resort gives guests lots of reasons to never leave! Stay and play on the hard beach (no mucky bottom), with pristine water quality to swim in. Bring your boat, jet skiis and water toys and use the large dock and moorings. The dock with it's two large benches and tiki barge are the best s the best place to watching sunsets. The shared campfire pits are a popular spot to gather after dusk. Kids will enjoy the onsite playground, swing set, tether ball and sandbox. Adults can pitch horseshoes, play volleyball or join in on a basketball game.
A venture might take you down a scenic shoreline in a rental pontoon boat at the nearby marina - great for large groups that want to boat together all day. Pick your adventure! Go fishing for Tiger Muskie, Northern Pike, Bass, Walleye, and Perch; try jet skiing, and water skiing. We can help you plan a river adventure by canoe too.
Since you book with us here at Twin Lakes Shore Resort, we can give you lots of tips on how to enjoy Lewiston like a local. Like to golf? Championship golf is nearby at Garland and Treetops Resorts. Elk viewing is a real treat for any age.
Spring is great for Morel mushroom hunting. October season trails for hiking, Mountain Biking and ATV riding are incredible. September deer/grouse hunting and fall color tours are popular. Locals Day Trip Tip: Traverse City and Mackinac Island are 2 memorable destinations any time of the year.
