Northern Waters is a two-bedroom cottage located lakeside at the Twin Lakes Shore Resort. This cozy getaway offers accommodations for six with a fieldstone fireplace in a beautiful natural setting in northern Michigan. The cabin is pet-friendly during the spring and fall.
Northern Waters is newly renovated and comes equipped with a large bath with shower, a full kitchen with a stove and oven, a refrigerator and freezer, a coffee maker, toaster and microwave, and the necessary place settings, cookware and utensils.
The cottage also features a round dining table with cushioned armchairs for six, a family room with a leather sofa and reading chair gathered around a corner TV, and two private bedrooms. The open-concept living space is made cozy by the fabulous field stone wood burning fire place.
Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom one at Northern Waters is furnished with a full-sized bed. Bedroom two has a full-sized bed and a set of twin-sized bunk beds. The living area sofa also pulls out into a queen-sized bed.
Northern Waters faces out to a large playground, perfect for families with children. It is one of 3 units in a single story structure steps from the lake. Twin Lakes Shore Resort offers relaxing outdoor spaces that includes a private-access charcoal & gas grills, picnic tables and fire pits. Cabin guests also have access to resort amenities, including a hard sand swimming area (no muck), an U shaped dock with protected swim area and moorings for guest boats. There is a variety of free boats available to guests and rental fishing motors. You can also rent a pontoon boat at the nearby marina on the lake.
Guests staying in any of the unique cabins and cottages at Twin Lakes Shore Resort will find plenty to do onsite — grill or cook around the fire and enjoy your meal in the fresh air with a calming view of the lake, or challenge your family and friends to a game of volleyball, tetherball, or horse shoes at the open-air courts. Guests enjoy bountiful walleye fishing on site as well as nearby trophy trout steams. Championship golf nearby as well as disc golf and hiking trails in town.
Downtown Lewiston is walking distance (1 mile) from the resort with quaint shops, coffee cafe, family friendly taverns, and fine dining restaurants.
The Lewiston, MI, area is a popular vacation destination year-round, with outdoor activities and beautiful views available in any season. Popular activities include searching for morel mushrooms in the spring, hunting for grouse in the fall, or taking a country drive through the vibrant foliage. Visitors to the area can hike and bike the nature trails or participate in local golfing events. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for deer, elk and rare birds!
