The resort setting really turns romantic and tranquil in late October and early November.
Since Loon Lodge is part of our Northern Michigan resort, your family has access to our onsite playground, swing set, sand box, areas for tossing horseshoe, playing volleyball/badminton, and basketball. The wildlife plays all day too, so watch for Eagles flying overhead and listen for the fascinating sounds of the Loons on the lake.
The kitchen supply list is endless and everything is right at your fingertips in this well stocked kitchen. Sleeping arrangement: 1 queen, 2 full size beds and a full size sleeper sofa.

We also get you started with a first day supply of paper products and soap - pack your own for the rest of your West Twin Lake stay. Loon Lodge has a large flat screen TV conveniently positioned over the fireplace mantle.
What a great lake to spend your vacation on! West Twin Lake has pristine water, and our resort has a wonderful beach, a large dock, and moorings for your boats and jet skis. Don’t own any water toys? We have plenty of free boats to choose from - Row boats, paddle boats, kayaks, and a canoe. And we rent outboard motors by the day. You can also rent a pontoon boat nearby at the marina on the lake. Anglers tip: The lake is very well known for it's Walleye fishing and also has Northern Pike, Bass, and Perch!
