What’s a country cottage without a well-stocked kitchen? We know big meals at the cottage are common. The Stone Cottage kitchen has a sink, electric stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and fridge and lots of dishes and cookware. Step outside onto the patio and fire up the Charcoal grill if you’d like.
The 2 cottages and Lulu camper are the perfect compliment to our new Starry Night Barn & Studios! This has become a premier wedding and events venue - think historic barn bones and modern conveniences. Celebrating with family and loved ones in the country.
Sleeping arrangements: There’s a king bed in the sleeping loft; a daybed and trundle on the main floor. Plus a roll-away bed is available.
We have lots of space on the Farm so bring your boats, kayaks and bikes! Nearby forests, meandering creeks, apple & cherry orchards, biking trails, wineries & cideries, rolling hillsides, lakes and beaches are waiting.
The historic Farm & modern comforts at all 3 of our vacation rentals are a nice surprise for those looking to step back in time a bit, but have a comfortable stay. This Stone Cottage was formerly a creamery! This is your chance to enjoy some real countryside living where even the cottage shower is outdoors.
We know you’re coming to Suttons Bay in the Leelanau peninsula for the local adventures! Our location is perfect - a short drive to the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore; quaint towns and villages; Traverse City. Before you head out make sure to take time to relax on the Patio. At dusk, gather around the Bonfire pit for some stories and stargazing.

The Stone Cottage in the heart of Leelanau County offers nightly (2 night minimum) reservations.
Peak Season: 6/15/19 – 9/8/19 and Memorial Day weekend
Weeknight = $185/night;
Weekend (Fri-Sun) = $195/night
Off Peak Season: 5/4/19 – 6/14/19 and 9/9/19 – 11/16/19
Weeknight = $170/night; Weekend (Fri-Sun) = $185/night
Check-in is 4 pm or later. Check-out is 11 am
*Add $70 cleaning fee and MI 6% Use tax. 50% deposit via credit card is required to make a reservation. One Canine guest $15/night; two dogs $25/night. Additional sheets and bath towels are available for a $25 fee.
We stayed in the little stone cottage and fell in love with it. We didn't want to leave it was so peaceful charming and private, yet close to town and great shop, wineries and restaurants. When we set out on our trip we decided that we wanted to stay somewhere unexpected and not be in your run of the mill hotel room. We were absolutely thrilled when we saw the photos on line and when we arrived we were so excited to see the inside. It's the perfect little cottage cozy, decorated so cute, with everything that you need. We found it completely relaxing and loved the outdoor shower the clawfoot tub inside was perfect for the end of the day. The wood burning stove was perfect for the cool fall nights. The cottage has central heat and air but we never turned it on. The owner is wonderful the place is clean and well maintained. The property is beautiful with numerous vistas. You get what you pay for and mich more. I didn't want to leave. It's close enough to everything the area has to offer yet private enough that you feel like you are completely alone. For 16 years we’ve been welcoming families and groups to our 2 Century Farm Cottages and Lulu camper. Century Farm was once run as a B&B and we recently restored the barn to the Starry Night Barn & Studios. Our goal is to preserve our land and area lakes for generations to come.
