Northern Escape Cabin 3 occupies half of a beachfront duplex on Lake Huron. Yes, it’s the half closest to the water too. At roughly 500 square feet, this four-person cabin is the perfect northern Michigan getaway for anyone looking to spend their time out-of-doors on one of the midwest’s most beautiful lakes.
Cabin 3 can accommodate up to four guests comfortably, with two private bedrooms and one full bath. Each bedroom has a full-sized bed. This one-story cottage features an open studio-style living space with a sitting area (with a futon sofa bed), a dining table near the large picture window, and a fully equipped kitchenette.
Best of all, Cabin 3 has a spacious, level and grassy lawn that leads directly onto the sand beach. Here, you’ll have access to yard games, a picnic table and an outdoor fire pit, as well as a shared gazebo settled down near the water.
Northern Escape Cabin 3 by Perfect Landing is a sister cabin to Cabin 2. These Lake Huron cottages can be rented separately or as a pair to accommodate groups of up to eight. These homes are available for Summer rentals with great options to enjoy the setting and view in all seasons.
Our two Northern Escape Cabins are centrally located to put you within easy distance to day trips visiting the charming villages settled all along the coast of Lake Huron. These quaint coastal towns are known for art galleries and antiques, gift shops and waterfront dining, local wineries and open-air markets — not to mention seasonal street parties and live music.
If you’re traveling with your own watercraft, the East Tawas State Dock is close by and a popular location for docking and strolling the pier. Boat slips are open for public use, and it’s just a short walk from shopping, restaurants and concerts in the park. The area also offers access to smaller lakes and rivers, perfect for canoeing, kayaking, tubing and fishing.
If you love the outdoors, you’ll find no shortage of scenic views and nature trails, from the Tawas Bike Path that runs along the lake’s edge to Tawas Point State Park and the historic lighthouse, to the 44-mile year-round Corsair Trail. Here there are options for hiking, biking, cross-country skis, snowmobiling, ATVs and more.
