Sleeping arrangements: Northern Escape Cabin 2 has two private bedrooms with a full-sized bed in each. There is also a futon couch in the main living area.

The East Tawas State Dock is a popular point, with boat slips for public use located within easy walking distance from shopping, dining and concerts in the park. The area’s lakes and rivers also provide plenty of opportunity for sailing, paddling and fishing.
Scenic nature trails wind through the area, making it the perfect vacation spot for hikers, bikers and snowmobilers. The Corsair Trail is a 44-mile nature trail that is maintained year-round for seasonal sports. The Tawas Bike Path is another local favorite, which travels alongside the lake and ends up at the historic lighthouse at Tawas Point State Park.
