This near 700 square foot home is laid out so well and so open. It is located within a few miles of town, in case you want to do some downtown shopping in Oscoda.

*All bed linens are included. The towels that are provided consist of 2 bath towels, 2 wash clothes, and 1 hand towel per bath. We suggest you bring personal towels.
Guests will love the unique waterfront setting at Loon Lodge, with the carefully maintained path that leads through the yard and the paved seating area set down next to the lake’s edge. Here, you can sit in provided Adirondack deck chairs and roast marshmallows over an outdoor fire pit while you listen to the lapping of the waves on the shore.
A private dock is available onsite for guest use, and is convenient for fishing off the end, swimming in the clear water or launching any private watercraft you chose to bring along. Loon Lodge is located on private property with off-street parking for up to two vehicles.
You may never wish to leave the property during your relaxing getaway at Loon Lodge — with the fully equipped kitchen, spacious outdoor area and great views, guests have all the comforts of home as well as the freedom to cook and eat outside, fish and swim on property, and of course enjoy the stunning sunsets and lake breezes.
However, if you feel like venturing out, this charming cottage is located just a few miles from downtown Oscoda, where you will find a unique Michigan dining and shopping scene. Some popular off-site pastimes for guests to Loon Lodge include community events, such as Art on the Beach, the Fourth of July celebration, a varied racing schedule and annual festivals.
Schedule your trip around an afternoon at “Tons of Fun on the River,” or plan a tour to the Charity Island Lighthouse. This home is also conveniently located to Lake Huron, where visitors can engage in charter fishing guided trips, dinner cruises and even scuba diving.
