Our Little Gem cabin on Lake Huron is a picturesque, postage-stamp vacation rental in Oscoda. At 432 square feet, this two-bedroom waterfront home in northern Michigan offers accommodations for three near boating, fishing and sand beaches on the Great Lakes.
Little Gem is settled between the trees on a private lot, with a small wooded path that leads to the beach. Built in the 1950s, the home has a fully equipped kitchen with dishware and appliances, as well as a central sitting room and a full bath with a standing shower.
This cabin’s private lot includes a small clearing with a level grassy area perfect for cooking out over the fire or storing bikes. There is a charcoal grill for your use, as well as a collection of lawn chairs. On the waterfront, there is 25 feet of shoreline belonging to the property, and a dock.
Sleeping arrangements: Two bedrooms at Little Gem are furnished with one queen-sized bed and one set of twin-sized bunk beds. All bed linens are provided, as well as some towels.
Little Gem has a variety of outdoor spaces for you to explore, from the wooded clearing to the narrow wooden footpath to the waterfront, and the open sandy beach itself. You’ll love the peace and quiet, as well as having direct access to Lake Huron.
Please note: Natural lake levels will fluctuate and may be higher or lower than photographed.
This cabin is conveniently located in the popular northern town of Oscoda, Michigan. Spend all day in the sun at the local public beach, or head into town for ice cream, gift shops, and fantastic dining. Fishing, boating and waters ports are the main event at Lake Huron. There are even charter fishing trips and shipwreck tours! Internet, spectrum charter TV and a Roku device with streaming services is available to you for evenings in with a movie.
