Take a short drive to the Tawas Point State Park and see the Victorian-era style Lighthouse and sand spit that creates Tawas Bay. Hike the 2 mile Sandy Hook Nature Trail past the lighthouse to end of the sand spit. Tawas Bay is also a favorite winter ice-fishing spot.
