Overlooking all the resort cottages, activities and the lake is our 3 bedroom vacation home! Plenty of room for your group of up to 8. Need more ‘rooms’ rent one of our other 7 cottages and turn our resort into your family reunion resort. Enjoy the best views of Houghton Lake. It's the perfect place for a couple's getaway or a family fishing vacation too.
With 150' of lakefront, a 100’ dock with rowboats and oars, boat moorings, and a fish cleaning station, plan on spending lots of time on the lake fishing, swimming, water skiing. What a great place to be for the spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
Kitchen amenities include stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, basic pots, pans and dishes.
Sleeping arrangement: King, a queen size bed and two sets of bunk beds requiring twin sheets.
Soak up some heat in the Sun Room and plan your dinner. Choose from a charcoal grill or furnished kitchen. Towards evening, the lakeside fire pit is a great place to meet new friends and watch the lake. Though we don’t have spa services here, there are local businesses that offer off site massages. So, go ahead, enjoy a Swedish massage right in your vacation home. Others are in town: Basic and specialty massages, beneficial body treatments, facials and nail and hand treatment.
North Bay Landing (formerly known as Marsee's Landing) is situated on Michigan’s Other Great Lake – Houghton Lake, in the North Bay. For some local exploring ask us about Fall color tours, Historical Museums, the Zubler's Indian Pow Wow and Craft Shop, Rocking Horse Gift Shop (famous for their homemade fudge). Great nightlife too: the Limberlost holds various summer beach parties and winter bashes. And if you need a bite to eat order traditional dinners, Mexican food, steak and seafood, kid-friendly meals. Bands from all over come to perform at the Limberlost.
You might end up at one of the 5 area golf courses, or fishing on 2 other lakes; Higgins Lake & Lake St. Helen (Crappie, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Brown Trout).
Things to remember: Your own bedding, towels, toiletries, and other personal items. Remember to send your inquiry early as prime summer weeks fill up very early!
