Your lake adventure begin at our 22,000 acre all recreational lake, Lake Houghton. It’s Michigan's largest inland lake and we offer one of the best lake views from 150 feet of lakefront property. Cottage has a refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, toaster, basic pots, pans, and dishes. Cook your own meals or eat at any of the area restaurants.
Sleeping arrangement: Queen and a full sized bed in the bedrooms plus a full sized pullout bed.
You have choices! We have 6 cottages and a home. Choose a resort activity like basketball court, horseshoe pit, volleyball court. Little ones will love the swing-set. 5 golf courses are within a half hour. Plenty of restaurant - casual, pizzerias, fine dining, fast food. Many public beaches. Choices make your Michigan getaway experience memorable.

Explore the North Bay of the lake using one of our rowboats with oars, or bring your own boat and park it at the dock or one of our moorings. Enjoy fishing, swimming, water skiing, and more. Now that you've created some wonderful lake memories it’s time to father around the lakeside fire pit and make some family memories that live forever.
Nearby are antique shops, the Historical Old Town District (ask us about the haunted tours). Learn about the AuSable River and its great past at the AuSable River Center. Take the kids to the 1880's built Gallimore Boarding House which operated as a boarding house from 1904 to 1931, or the Wellington Farm - a working replica of a typical Mid-American farmstead during the 1930s.
Things to remember: Your own bedding, towels, toiletries, and other personal items. Remember to send your inquiry early as prime summer weeks fill up very early!
