Steeped in rich tradition, this turn-of-the-century resort still maintains the rustic charm that has made it so popular over the years. In 1960, White Lake's own Nancy Anne Fleming became Miss America. Cabin time during summer includes lots of time on the Lake Michigan shoreline!
Canoe trips; days spent relaxing in the sun; rekindling childhood memories of roasting marshmallows over a campfire. We offer all-ages activities at our historic Michillinda Lodge - Play basketball, tennis and other sports on this 22 acre waterfront sanctuary paradise.
With five state parks, a world-class amusement park and various historical sites nearby, everyone will have something to do. We recommend a lighthouse tour: The White River Lighthouse Station (climb the spiral staircase to the top of the light house tower, browse the many 19th and early 20th century photographs - look out across Lake Michigan as the light house Keeper did a century ago). Big Sable Point Lighthouse (one of few Michigan lights with a tower reaching 100 feet)
Bike around our remote Lodge location, or head to the nearby Hart-Montague Bicycle Trail - a local favorite 22-mile paved trail passing through lush forests.

Katie Watt — 5 star. My family vacations here the same week every July.
Laura Riker — 4 star. Great place! Near the public beach by Duck Lake too.
Jessica Ostrom — 4 star. We just got married here last weekend. Absolutely gorgeous scenery made for a beautiful ceremony! The only downfall was the new amplified music ordinance that passed in the township which caused the DJ to have to play indoors. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we received a ton of compliments on the venue we chose.
