Historic. Legendary. Tradition. These words certainly describe the Cabin Time experience here at our Michillinda Lodge, but they better describe this very special turn-of-the-century resort that still maintains a rustic charm. You can feel the history of the Michillinda property as soon as you turn onto the driveway.
Cabin F has all the fixings for a great family vacation. It is close to the pool and playground, yet tucked into the trees. The crashing sound of the Lake Michigan surf carries up the hill to the two tennis courts, basketball court, two shuffleboard courts, volleyball and horseshoes areas.
Cabin amenities include TV with DVD upon request, wifi, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, bed linens, comforter and pillows, towels and toiletries.
Everything is big here! 22 acres of land surround the Michillinda cottages. The resort grounds features eight buildings with 26 summer vacation rentable units. 25x50 outdoor heated swimming pool. 115 person capacity (our white wedding tent holds up to 300 guests). You’re vacationing on the second largest lake in the world. Our 400’ long private shoreline of Lake Michigan means big fun for the kids.
Yet Michillinda’s Cabin F offers a romantic getaway for two or the entire family. In fact, you can rent F & E together! They share a deck so you can all vacation together.
How about experiencing the thrill of fishing on beautiful Lake Michigan. We can help you charter a fishing boat out of Whitehall, MI so you can fish for King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, BrownTrout, and Steelhead. Off water area festivals trills include White Lake Guitar Fest, Blues Festival, Chamber Music Festival, and Pumpkinfest.
Just beyond the resort grounds are many bucket-list attractions: White River Lighthouse Station (climb the spiral staircase to the top of the light house tower); Museum; World’s Largest Weathervane; The Great Lakes Naval Memorial and Museum; Big Sable Point Lighthouse. After a day of exploring the Whitehall, MI area make sure you stop by a local Brewery and Winery so you can enjoy some local flavors back at the cabin. The Fetch Brewing Company has craft beer brewed on site, a Tap room and live entertainment.

Laura Riker — 4 star. Great place! Near the public beach by Duck Lake too.
Jessica Ostrom — 4 star. We just got married here last weekend. Absolutely gorgeous scenery made for a beautiful ceremony! The only downfall was the new amplified music ordinance that passed in the township which caused the DJ to have to play indoors. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we received a ton of compliments on the venue we chose.
Katie Watt — 5 star. My family vacations here the same week every July.
