All beds are twin-sized. One bedroom can be combined to create a king-sized bed. The king option must be requested in advance.
Located 40.6 miles south of Michigan Tech's main campus in Houghton and 10 miles from the shores of Lake Superior!

Unique Features
Ash House has a washing machine and dryer in the basement. The kitchen comes with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils, and plates, bowls and cups.
An outdoor and environmental education center with full-service conference facilities and lodging in historic Alberta Village, built by Henry Ford! We offer a peaceful, scenic, affordable setting for a group get-together of all kinds: reunions, conferences, life events, adventure vacations, and special occasions.
Things To Do
Guest will enjoy a forest stand, in our 3,700 acres of diverse hardwood, jack pine, and forested wetlands. Canoe, or ice fish, on Lake Plumbago. Ascend to the forest canopy, silty Sturgeon River soil that favors upland northern hardwoods. Hemlock. Black spruce. Wetlands.
Watch for deer, moose, swans, and salamanders—some of the usual suspects around these parts.
