Bohemia and the lake from the cabin's front window is spectacular. Kitchen includes Fridge, Electric range, Microwave, Coffee maker, Pots, coffee, coffee filters, pans, dishes and silverware.
We are pet friendly but there will be a $25 fee assessed per pet for your stay. Please inform us if you will be having your pet travel with you when staying at our cabin.
Sleeping arrangement: Bedroom on main floor 2 twin beds (upon request can be made as a king size bed). Loft with twin and double bed. Fold out sofa with a double bed on main floor.

A 12 foot canoe, 2 kayaks and a 14’ aluminum fishing boat with a 9.9hp engine are free for your use (life jackets are provided). There is dock space for your fishing boat (not large boats however).
Hooked UP Charter Fishing (www.hookedupcharter.com) is available June 1st of each year and possibly sooner, depending on the weather. Enjoy Lake Superior in our 25 ft Chris Craft. Catches include lake trout, brown trout, steelhead trout, coho salmon and king salmon. Here is where the largest fresh waters on earth create a peninsula called the Keweenaw. Relax in the lakeside screen porch before boating over for a drink and something to eat at the Bear Belly Bar & Grill, located on the northside of the lake. The area is known for 4-wheeling, mountain biking, hiking, hunting, fishing, boating, swimming and berry picking.
Four seasons of recreation are waiting: Mount Bohemia Ski Area is only 3 miles from the cabin and access to the snowmobile trail is one mile from the cabin. We experience over 250 inches of average snowfall in the winter! Snow shoeing, cross country skiing and downhill skiing are all Yooper good! The Spirit of the Woods Folk Festival is an annual free event held the 3rd Saturday in June each year in nearby Brethren, Michigan.
Things to remember: Charcoal for the supplied grill. Firewood for the lakeside fire pit.The store at the Lac La Belle Lodge, located across the lake, usually has charcoal and firewood available during the summer season.

What a fantastic little cabin on the lake! Serene, clean and comfortable. We loved having our morning coffee and evening tea on the dock. Steve’s couches are so (Website hidden by Airbnb) the end of the evening we just melted into them. Check in/out was extremely easy and at your own leisure, useful if you arrive late or leave early. We were very pleased with this rental! Very clean, very peaceful, lots of amenities. Owners thought of nearly everything to make our stay comfortable, safe, and convenient. Really nice spot, plenty of room for mid size groups and a very good location for skiing at mount Bohemia. I would for sure stay again.... and I'm sort of interested to see what the fishing might be like in the area. Steve was super nice, the place was clean, air was refreshing... The Cabin at Lac La Belle is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Great views from the living room and loft, and a private dock for boating /fishing. Hiking in the area was fantastic. We enjoyed the many waterfalls in the area and the solitude of the area. Steve and Bonny were very attentive and friendly...highly recommended. Bill Oct 2017
