Cabin 2 is next to cabin 1. Both are located on Houghton Lake, so the lake views are spectacular both inside the cabin and outside on the patio! If your group of 6 grows to a group of 16, you can rent all 4 resort cabins and still be together.
Unique Features
Rent 1 or rent them all. Bring your boat and water toys for a great time on the lake: Use our 2 docks, 2 pontoon hoists and 2 fishing boat hoists. Your lake vacation also includes a free row boat and 2 kayaks with life jackets available for the kids.
Fishing is the main attraction during the warmer season. Ice fishing and snowmobiling are the main attractions during the winter months. there are hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails nearby. The water is shallow with a firm sandy bottom however there is no sandy beach.

Like to hike? Take a 3 mile loop through an old growth pine forest in AuSable State Forest. The Houghton Lake area offers a wide variety of outdoor activities!

Thinking about coming to all-sports Houghton Lake with a larger group? You can rent all 4 cabins at the resort. Love the sound of fish frying? Houghton Lake is one of the best inland fishing lakes in the state. Serve walleyes, pike, bass, perch, and blue gill for dinner!
Off-season festivals are worth the chill! Attend Tip-Up-Town USA! It happens Friday, Saturday and Sunday, on the last two weekends in January. The Shake Houghton Lake Music Festival is on the East Bay of Houghton Lake.
