Fishing is the main attraction during the warmer season. Ice fishing and snowmobiling are the main attractions during the winter months. there are hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails nearby. The water is shallow with a firm sandy bottom however there is no sandy beach.

Maybe we will see you at the premier ice fishing festival in north central Michigan! Tip-Up-Town USA happens Friday, Saturday and Sunday, on the last two weekends in January. Dance the day away at the Shake Houghton Lake Music Festival on the East Bay of Houghton Lake.
