Things To Do
Enjoy a quiet neighborhood and an elevated Lake Superior view from Tannery Landing. Though there is no direct lake access, you have a beautiful view. Cell phones work at this home.
Let the exploration of Munising, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, and the Central U.P. begin! Admire the towering Pictured Rocks cliffs - up to 200 feet above Lake Superior. Locals Tip: East of Miners Beach is where you’ll find the best rock colors and the best views are from the lake. 2 hour boat cruises depart from downtown Munising and offer an up-close view of the cliffs!
If you love waterfalls, the park has many. Observe them from the road or take a short hike. For an extreme hiking adventure with cliff edges get on the North Country National Scenic Trail which extends the length of the lakeshore.
