La Casita Del Bosque is a two story, 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home that is nestled right in the woods and near a 25-acre lake. Our home ideally accommodates groups of six to eight people! This will be the perfect home to have a nice family get-a-way during the holidays or for a fun summer break! Our home has an open layout floor plan with high ceilings. This will give you and your guests plenty of room to roam around and not feel like you are on top of each other!
The kitchen area is very spacious with endless amounts of countertop space. This is perfect for when you want to cook up those large family meals and serve them buffet style on our island! We also provide you with all of the utensils that you may need as well.
The living room area has multiple sitting chairs and a comfy couch to snuggle up on and enjoy a nice movie on our flat screen tv!
Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed, bed linens and tons of closet space! Our bathrooms are also fully stocked with fluffy towels and more!
Unique Features
La Casita del Bosque has a huge backyard which is the perfect setup for the little kiddos to run around and play! We even have brand new kayaks that you can take out on the lake as well! Upstairs we have a small seating area that mimics the downstairs living room! You’ll also be able to enjoy our charcoal grill and the outdoor furniture.
Things To Do
There are tons of things to do around the area! But the largest attraction nearby would have to be the pictured rocks national lakeshore. It is a gorgeous landscape and is the perfect destination for you and your family to enjoy! You’ll never want to leave this beautiful place! And don’t forget about all of the photos that you are going to be taking here too! The lakeshore even offers 12 miles of beaches! So, you and your family can enjoy some fun in the sun!
There are also tons of breathtaking waterfalls and enormous sand dunes too.
The park is open all year round! That means if you want to come during the colder months, feel free too! You will be able to enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, hiking and more!
Indian Head is alongside the Picture Rocks National Lakeshore. This area is perfect for canoeing, or kayaking! There are even tour boats around so you can get the full effect of the Lakeshore!
If you don’t feel like leaving home, you can enjoy a nice family day on the lake! Bring out those fishing poles and catch dinner! The lake is also perfect for swimming or just floating on your back soaking up the peace and quiet!

Rates are based on 8 guests including children. Each additional guest will incur a fee of $25/night, plus a $325 cleaning charge.

Holidays may require a longer stay and be at a higher rate.
One-half of the total rental amount is due upon reservation.
A refundable security/damage fee is required to hold the cabin.
Cancellations of summer rentals (June through August) will receive no refund after May 1.
Cancellations during all other times of the year will receive a refund less a cancellation fee up to 45 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
Cancellations made within 45 days of the scheduled arrival date may not be refunded unless we are able to rebook the property.
