Cabin #1 at Grandview Resort in Germfask, Michigan, is a modern three-bedroom home with a lake-facing view on Big Manistique. This charming Upper Peninsula Resort was built in 1995 with new kitchen appliances, wood flooring in the main rooms, and one and a half baths.
This cabin is set on a private lot close to shared boat docks and a fish-cleaning house. The outdoor area includes a spacious screen porch furnished with a porch swing and patio table set. There is also a level, grassy lawn with lounge chairs and plenty of parking for extra trailers.
Inside, you’ll find cozy furniture, a nicely equipped kitchen and all bed linens provided. In addition to stove top oven and refrigerator, Cabin #1 has a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes and cookware, and lots of counter space. The dining table offers seating for six.
The living room has comfortable sofas that can double as extra sleeping space. This home has satellite dish TV, a VHS and DVD player, and a CD player with AM/FM radio. Guests will need to bring their own bath towels, dish towels, soaps, games and boating or fishing equipment.
This cabin has everything you need to enjoy a summer week at the lake. From the outdoor picnic table, fire pit and grill to the 14-foot aluminum fishing boat, you’ll be all set to enjoy Michigan’s best weather. When you stay at Grandview Resort, you’ll also have access to shared amenities, including a children’s playground, a basketball court, boat docks, a fish house and a sandy swimming area.
Grandview Resort is located on the Big Manistique Lake shoreline between Germfask and Curtis, MI. At more than 10,000 acres, Big Manistique is one of the Upper Peninsula’s larger lakes offering clean, clear water and excellent fishing year round. Popular activities in this scenic area include seasonal hunting and fall color tours, swimming and boating, sailing, nature hikes, bird watching and cross-country skiing.
You can also head into downtown Curtis to explore the gift shops and local restaurants. This quaint Michigan town has everything you need in the way of bait or equipment shops, marinas, grocery stores, laundromat and library. There is even a fun ice cream parlor! Other unique attractions nearby include The Ghost Town in Fayette State Park, the Grand Sable Falls and Sand Dunes, The Seul Choix Lighthouse, Mackinac Island, the Pictured Rocks Boat Tours and the Shipwreck Museum on Whitefish Point.
