Here’s a cabin for 5 on the water’s edge of Lake George in Northern Michigan. The side porch of this cabin provides another view of Lake George with extra privacy. Our “end of the road” location helps you feel like you have escaped to your own, private retreat. The resort includes 300 ft. sandy beach, 3 private docks, a play scape, 2 swing sets, 2 paddle boats, 6 kayaks, a paddle board and an assortment of life vests.You will enjoy great swimming around the docks and at the beach.
Since you book directly with me, I can give you tips on how to “Michigan like a local”. Like Wineries? Sunrise Side Wine & Hops Trail, or Rose Valley Winery. Like hiking and biking? Ogemaw Hills Pathway is for you. Art Galleries too! Lake George in Ogemaw County has rainbow trout. Local’s tip! Just east of the boat launch located on the other side of the lake there is a small inlet where the trout like to hang around. Head out early:)
Sleeping arrangement: 1 double bed in bedroom a sleeper sofa in the living area and a futon on the side enclosed porch. The full bathroom has a shower.
Cabin 4 (furthest to the East on the resort) has an enclosed porch with table and couch for extra space plus it overlooks an open space and the lake. Only one neighboring cabin! The camp cook will love the fully equipped kitchen.
Cabin 4 is one of 5 cabins and an upper level 3 bedroom house for rent at our Lake George Resort in Northern Michigan. Guests have access to a community dining hall, recreation room with ping-pong table and gas BBQ grills. Bring your own towels and soap products.
Evenings at Cabin 4 are spent reconnecting with family and friends around the peaceful and serene fire pit. Relax and enjoy your peaceful vacation rental on Lake George in Michigan. Lake George is an all-sports lake so bring your own boat! We have free boat docking for our registered guests, and there is a public access site on the south side of the lake. Boat, tube and ski the day away!
Like to stay busy? West Branch, MI has plenty of opportunities to fill your days. Victorian themed downtown West Branch is just 4 miles from your lakefront cottage. Shopping, local dining, a movie theater and an Outlet Mall are only 3.5 miles away. “Slots” to do at the Saganing Eagles Landing Casino - 30 minutes away.
Golfing can be both a dream and a nightmare at The Dream & The Nightmare Golf Course right here in West Branch. 30 minutes to the East 30 is Houghton Lake or the Tawases on Saginaw Bay. Plan on a day trip if you head over to Lake Huron beaches - there’s miles of sand.

We absolutely LOVE this place! Quiet, peaceful, clean, and so relaxing! The lake is beautiful and there are plenty of kayaks, paddle boats, paddle boards, and row boats. The kids haven't been out of the water all weekend, other than for fishing off the dock.... They haven't asked for electronics and didn't even want the TV on at night. Lindsay Jones

If you like swimming, fishing, playing in the sand, hanging out around your bonfire and just plain relaxing Lake George Resort is for you. My 5 cabins and upper level 3 bedroom house are located on 2.75 acres on the north shore of all sports Lake George in West Branch, MI. This special little piece of heaven offers the comforts of home with the benefits of living on a lake where my guests can enjoy everything that promotes relaxation and fun.
A 300 foot sandy beach, 3 docks, kayaks, paddle boats and a paddle board are all here for your use. There is a huge play scape plus 2 other swing sets, basketball, horseshoes, volley ball and a ping pong table that provides all kinds of activities. I also have a dining hall that has several tables with chairs and a frig for everyone to share. Each cabin has a complete full kitchen, all bed linens, a gas BBQ grille and a fire pit. All you need to bring is your food, towels and soap products. My families really like the fact that they can let their children run and play and know they are safe.
Lake George Resort is conveniently located in the “middle of the mitten” so it is only about a 2 hour drive from anywhere to get here. The town of West Branch, shopping, dining, and a hospital are only 5 miles away. I live next to the cabins so I am always available to help with anything you might need.
