Looking to spend a vacation on the water's edge? Our very clean and comfortable Cabin 3 at Lake George Resort in Northern Michigan is on a beautiful all sports lake. We are a family oriented resort specializing in a relaxing, peaceful, home-away-from-home vacation experience. 2 hours from anywhere in the Mitten of Michigan!
Inside is 1 bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom with shower. Simple and affordable lakefront accommodations reflect how we embrace a classic lake resort vibe. Relax the whole time, or keep busy if that’s your desire - there’s lots to see and do: visit the Modern Craft Winery and hike the Rifle River Recreation Area.
Sleeping arrangement: 1 double bed in the bedroom and the living room has a sleeper sofa or futon.
Cabin 3 is one of 5 cabins and a 3 bedroom upper level house at our Lake George Resort. If you need room for a larger group, our cabins will keep you vacationing together. The feeling of renewed life that comes with being outdoors is what makes this Michigan lakefront resort special.
Since you book directly with me, I can share my local knowledge so all ages will go home with wonderful vacation memories. Maybe you’ll go home a little richer too: The Saganing Eagles Landing Casino in Standish is only 30 minutes away.
The setting is very peaceful and serene because our cabins are nestled at the end of the road. However, all sports Lake George is buzzing with activity. You can join the fun too on one of our paddle boats, 6 kayaks, a paddle board or row boat - choose a water toy and GO! Prefer to keep dry? The resort has a huge play scape, 2 swing sets, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball and ping pong. There’s plenty of space for kids to run and play.
We know your cabin time will likely include exploring what’s nearby, so being just 4 miles from downtown (Victorian theme) West Branch is a bonus. Find golfing, shopping, dining, a movie theater, and an Outlet Mall close by. Our central location means that Houghton Lake, Tawas and the Lake Huron beaches are only 30 minutes away. ORV riders will dig the extensive trail system in Ogemaw County.

$5/person for extra day visitors. $10/overnight guest (prior approval required). 50% deposit is required for reservations ($300 deposit is required for 7 day reservation). We absolutely LOVE this place! Quiet, peaceful, clean, and so relaxing! The lake is beautiful and there are plenty of kayaks, paddle boats, paddle boards, and row boats. The very best part of being the caretaker of this precious little resort is having the opportunity of meeting wonderful people and building lasting relationships with them. Lake George Resort has been called “The Peaceful Place Around The Corner”. It is my sincere pleasure and privilege to welcome folks to stay and share the peace and beauty of this wonderful place. If you like swimming, fishing, playing in the sand, hanging out around your bonfire and just plain relaxing Lake George Resort is for you. My 5 cabins and upper level 3 bedroom house are located on 2.75 acres on the north shore of all sports Lake George in West Branch, MI. This special little piece of heaven offers the comforts of home with the benefits of living on a lake where my guests can enjoy everything that promotes relaxation and fun.
A 300 foot sandy beach, 3 docks, 6 kayaks, 2 paddle boats and a paddle board are all here for your use. There is a huge play scape plus 2 other swing sets, basketball, horseshoes, volley ball and a ping pong table that provides all kinds of activities. I also have a dining hall that has several tables with chairs and a frig for everyone to share. Each cabin has a complete full kitchen, all bed linens, a gas BBQ grille and a fire pit. All you need to bring is your food, towels and soap products. My families really like the fact that they can let their children run and play and know they are safe. I live next to the cabins so I'm always available to help with anything you might need.
Lake George Resort is conveniently located in the “middle of the mitten” so it is only about a 2 hour drive from anywhere to get here.
