Rent our Cabin 8 any month of the year and you get easy access to the “quiet side” of Beautiful Houghton Lake. All guests at Fought’s Resort can enjoy our extensive lake frontage and sandy beach. Take the paddleboat or kayaks out for a paddle at no cost to our guest. When the lake freezes, you have quick access to Houghton Lake for snowmobiling - the trails are easy to access too. There is a club house on site equipped with air hockey bumper pool, foos ball, an electronic basket ball game, puzzles and many games for your use. Or kick back and relax while reading one of the many books in our library while enjoying a cozy fire next to the wood burning fire place inside the club house. Fire wood is available for purchase on site or you may bring your own.
All 8 cabins at the resort have charcoal grills and screened porches. So relax and hang out at the cabin - use the kitchen, or take meal prep outside and surprise your family with dinner cooked & served on the porch.
Sleeping arrangement: Full-size beds, plus a sofa sleeper. Bathroom with shower.
Lake front cabins like Cabin 8 are hard to find and reserve, so plan ahead if being right next to the water is important to you and your group. Bring your boat or ask us about renting one. Our large dock and adjacent anchors will keep you boating right from the resort. Plan on spending lots of time along our 330ft on beautiful Houghton Lake frontage.
The Fought’s Resort activities will keep all-ages active all day. Basket ball court, shuffleboard court, volleyball, fire-pit, swing sets in the spacious play area. It’s time to gather your friends and family and experience an Up North lake vacation.
Nearby you can see live plays, musical concerts, events and dances at the historic Playhouse. Since you book with us here at Fought’s Resort, we can help you fill up your vacation bucket list and give you some fishing tips. Cabin time around here usually includes a fish fry or two. The Log Cabin Chalet Theatre looks just like a hunter's cabin. Try some canoeing & tubing, horseback riding and work on your short game at one of the golf courses.

Additional guests: $15/nt or $75/wk. Children 13 and under are $8/nt or $40/wk. We require a $150 deposit to confirm a reservation. Reservation for winter rentals are non-refundable. Sorry, no pets Memorial Day through Labor Day. Ask for cribs and highchairs if needed.
Went ice fishing all weekend had a comfy stay with my dog and caught some nice fish launching out and walking from this side of Houghton Lake also met some great friends from this that I'll continue to fish with for along time I'll definitely be returning. Jason Bow
Absolutely love staying at Fought's Resort! It has everything you need for a fun getaway to just relax or have fun with the family. My kids love playing on the beach and in the water.
