With the stunning vibrant blue waters of Lake Michigan and the seclusion that this property offers, you’ll never want to leave! Enjoy nightly campfires just steps from the door. Guest of all ages love the waterfront and the clear water for swimming. The Surf Cottage specializes in last minute getaways.

Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1 has a queen bed on the main floor. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed on the upper level. Bedroom 3 has a single bunk on the lower level. Bedroom 4 has a single bunk on the lower level. In the living room we also have 2 full futons and in the family room on the lower level we have another full futon. For additional space, we provide 2 portable cots and 1 portable playpen.
From the moment you walk in, you will notice the retro feel of this cabin rental. There is shag carpeting, custom ceramic tile, retro antiques, custom woodwork and furniture. We even have a pool table for the guests in the rec room. Gather up your friends and family…Our rental is truly unique and will be a place where you can make lifelong memories.
The surf cottage sits atop a 130’ bluff where you will witness panoramic views; The meandering bluff-side staircase also has an observation deck w/chairs, and a bbq grill! You will see Charlevoix and on clear days, even Beaver Island! Nothing can beat the view of Lake Michigan atop a bluff!

Being open all year allows our guests to experience four seasons of fun in Harbor Springs. Come visit us during the Fall Color Tour, Holidays, Ski getaways, Spring Break or a Summer trip. Summer means beach days, hiking, biking, golfing, boating, dining, canoeing, kayaking, and more! Surfing in Harbor Springs is a must. Winter in Harbor Springs includes sledding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing.
Nearby are other popular vacation spots such as Petoskey, Cross Village and the Inland Water Way. Only 40 minutes away from the straits of Mackinaw where they offer the Ferris of Mackinac Island, restaurants, fudge shops, and more.
