Long Lake Landing specializes in honeymoon getaways, romantic escapes or an anniversary destination. This newly built in 2004 Michigan cabin rental sits on a natural slope, with views of Long Lake thru the towering trees, nature and wildlife. Our rental has 160’ of private sand beach frontage on the all-sports Long Lake. Long Lake Landing offers a cottage style feel with features such as maple flooring, milled beam accents, ceramic tile, cabin decor and a gas log fireplace. We also have a rec. room with a pool table, PS2 w/games, boardgames, and puzzles. The kitchen comes fully stocked with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, cooking utensils and dishes.
Outside you will find a full dock with moorings for extra boats, a fire pit with chairs, rope hammock, a couple chaise lounges to sit and relax, and patio furniture on the deck.
Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1 has a queen bed on main floor. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed in the private loft. Bedroom 3 has a single bunk bed on the lower level. Bedroom 4 has a single bunk bed on the lower level. And finally in the living room we have two full futons and in the family room we have an additional futon. Need more beds? We have two portable cots and a portable playpen.
Recreation room, fireplace, a private beach! Priceless.

Home includes the use of a free pontoon boat w/10 gal free fuel, (Memorial week til Mid October), kayaks (May 1st til Nov 1st), and pedal boat (April 1st til Nov 15th), and a full dock with room for your boat (Mid-May til Nov 1st).
When you rent with us, you get free use of a paddle boat, 2 kayaks and a pontoon boat! Plus we include 10 gallons of premixed gas for the pontoon all included. We want our guests to explore Long Lake, therefore, we include all of these water transportation options.
We are open all year which means you can come visit us during any season! Popular times to travel include during the Fall Color Tour, Thanksgiving Retreat, Holiday & Ski Getaway, Spring Break and Summer Stays. Are you looking for a last minute vacation rental? Honor MI is well known for being close to The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. But we also have a variety of other year-round and seasonal activities such as tubing down Platte River, canoeing, kayaking, golfing, hiking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. Nearby destinations include the Betsie River, Lake Michigan, Crystal Lake, Herring Lakes, etc. Come visit us any time of the year.

We had a wonderful stay at this house for girls weekend 2009. A group of 7 stayed here, mostly friends from our high school days in Mt. Pleasant, MI.
