Our vacation home is Steps from Lake Michigan! This well kept family home is ready for your group of up to 6. Imagine a vacation where you can experience the Lake Michigan shoreline, beaches, roller coasters, water parks, even an 850-ft. luge track (one of only 4 in the country, designed by an Olympian, during both winter AND SUMMER!). The line up of Muskegon, MI festivals is also very impressive.
The two most popular places in the home are the large, comfortable living room and the fully-stocked kitchen. Step outside and prepare dinner on our gas grill while viewing the large, grassy, and tree-lined park across the street. Eat outside on the picnic table and enjoy our yard, too.
In addition to the stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave, our home has amenity-touches not found in many Muskegon vacation rentals: griddle, ice maker, laundry soap, dishwasher, hair dryer, iron and board, blender, paper towels, bathroom tissue, even a selection of spices. You’ll feel right at home in minutes!

Being residential, close to Downtown, near wonderful parks, and within walking distance of the Lake Michigan coastline has lots of unique benefits. Take a break from cooking at your Muskegon vacation rental and experience local flavors at restaurants and breweries.
The home has an attached garage, off-road parking and a wheelchair ramp. We provide all the beach stuff: chairs, towels, picnic baskets, even a cooler. Let the beach combing and festivals begin! Since you book directly with us, we can give you a list of events and festivals for all ages. You may also check these out at http://www.co.muskegon.mi.us/visit.htm. Popular events include: Muskegon Bike Time (motor cycles), Taste of White Lake, Michigan Irish Music Festival, Free Fishing Weekend, Lighthouse tours, Muskegon Farmers Market and Snowfest in February. Just ask!
Take a short. level, leisurely walk to the area's features. Right across the street is Margaret Drake Elliot Park with charcoal grills, picnic tables and open spaces for yard games. Stroll through the park to the Muskegon Channel that connects Lake Michigan to Muskegon Lake. The scenic walkway along the channel stretches 1/2 mile and brings you to the doorstep of the USS SILVERSIDES Submarine & Museum and the Muskegon lighthouse. Bring a pole and try some channel or pier fishing.
Ride on the area bike trails (rent one or bring your own). Make an afternoon of it and bike, walk or drive to Pere Marquette Park with its white sand beach (only 300 yds from your Muskegon home away from home) or the Harbour Towne Beach on Muskegon Lake.
The swimming, hiking, sailing and golfing in Muskegon are great. But don’t hibernate in winter! Enjoy the Winter Sports Complex at Muskegon State Park: ice skating rink, cross country skiing, sledding, snowshoeing, even luge sessions!

This home was built by and lived in by our parents, so it is attended to by us with loving care! It is the only home that we rent out. We take great pride in keeping it in the best possible condition, which all of our renters very much appreciate (many have returned multiple times). The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained.
