Here’s a yellow resort-style cabin directly on Mullett Lake! It’s a real a taste of nostalgia! If your small groups grows into a larger family reunion (up to 26 people), we have you all covered with 3 cabins and a Main Cottage. Cottage 1 at the resort offers a memorable lakefront Michigan vacation filled with the gentle sounds of the lake. Mullett Lake is great for every kind of lake fun, including swimming/snorkeling, fishing, skiing, paddling, etc.
Inside is a clean and functional living, dining and kitchen area with silverware, pots and pans, glasses, utensils, toaster, coffee maker. All 3 of our Smith Family Resort vintage cabins come with liquid hand soap, dish detergent, toilet paper and basic cleaning supplies.
Sleeping arrangement: 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed each. Couch in the living room folds out into a bed that sleeps 2.
The Smith Family Resort is one of the few lake resorts left, and has been lovingly maintained throughout the years. We are fortunate to be steps away from The North Central Trail too. So pack your hiking boots, cross country skis because there are miles of nature trails to enjoy!
Cabin time on Mullet Lakes includes plenty of time on the lake exploring and fishing thanks to being part of a 42 mile inland lake system of lakes and rivers. We have hare a large dock system, as well as three mooring buoys so bring your boats and water toys. Swimming at the resort is popular with guests of all ages- Mullett Lake has a sandy bottom. Sunny afternoons are great for relaxing outside on the lawn/deck in chairs or on Picnic Tables provided.
For a half-day or full-day trip, you have a few choices. Our Northern Michigan cottage is within a 45 minute drive of Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, Petoskey, and Harbor Springs.
Things to remember: Renters need to bring sheets, pillow cases, bath towels.

Each yellow cabin rents for $175 per night with a 3 night minimum stay. The weekly rental fee is $1050. With each rental, add 6% Michigan Use Tax, $50 cleaning fee, and refundable damage deposit of $100.
