This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Located in Melstrand, just 15 miles out of Munising, this cabin is close to all the action, but still offers a peaceful and secluded setting.
The cabin is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a full-size refrigerator and freezer. The living room is large and open, with a fireplace and a TV. There is also a dining room for enjoying meals together.
There are stairs to get into the home but once inside, everything is on one level.
Outside, there is a small deck and a fire pit. We also have a small apple orchard that is close to the house for those visiting in the fall. The perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. The cabin also has a private driveway and plenty of parking.
This cabin is the perfect place to enjoy all that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Just minutes away are Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Munising Falls, and Tannery Falls. There are also plenty of hiking trails, fishing spots, and swimming areas nearby.
Sleeping arrangement: Bedroom 1 has Twin/Single (2). Bedroom 2 has a King. Bedroom 3 has a Queen.

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore: This is a must-see for anyone visiting Munising. The park is home to 200 miles of stunning cliffs along Lake Superior, which are colorfully banded in reds, oranges, yellows, and greens.
Munising Falls: These are two waterfalls located just outside of Munising. The Upper Falls is 50 feet tall and the Lower Falls is 100 feet tall. Visitors can hike to the top of the falls. Tannery Falls is a series of waterfalls located just outside of Munising.
Grand Island National Recreation Area: This island is located just offshore from Munising. Munising is a great place to visit for anyone looking for a beautiful and exciting vacation. There is something for everyone in Munising, from stunning natural scenery to a variety of activities and attractions.

Recently enjoyed a last minute trip to hike part of the North Country Trail through Pictured Rocks Nat. Lakeshore. Chose this place initially due to limited options, but liked the location. This place is a very basic "modular" style of home, but very well equipped for your stay. The host was very responsive to a couple of information requests.
