Come stay and explore Michigan’s gem, the Leelenau peninsula where winery tours are just the beginning! Explore Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland’s famous Fishtown, Lake Michigan beaches, kayaking the Crystal River, great restaurants and so much more!
If you prefer, bring your boat and explore 22 miles of Lake Leelenau, one of Michigan’s top walleye fisheries and perch, bass and pike.
Our modern lakefront property has a shallow, hard sandy bottom, great for swimming or just floating in the sun.
This modern 2 bedroom / 2 bath home (SLEEPS 6) features vaulted ceilings in the main area, large kitchen complete with dishes, glassware, pots and pans… the works! You’ll find a a large dining area, living room with a pull out couch, recliner, rocker and a 55” flat screen tv with internet provided.
You will also find a large puzzle table and a daybed/couch for kicking back and reading your favorite book.
The main area also includes 2 ceiling fans. Because the house is shaded most of the day, it remains very cool on hot summer days!
The deck on the front has a patio table/chairs and gas grill, with additional chairs for sitting on the lawn to enjoy a beautiful lake view.
Master bedroom features a new king bed and private bath with shower, while the second bedroom has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have large closets and ceiling fans.
There is a 2nd bath and shower off the mud room.
There is a combo washer/dryer for your convenience.
Sheets, bedding and bath towels provided. Be sure to bring your beach towels,
so come stay, relax and enjoy our little bit of paradise on beautiful Lake Leelenau!
I'm a cabin rental owner in the area, so I know a thing or two about what makes this place special. Here are a few ideas for things to do in Lake Leelanau and Cedar, MI:
Go kayaking. The Crystal River is a great place to go kayaking. You can paddle through the river and take in the scenery.
Explore the beaches. Lake Leelanau is a beautiful lake with plenty of sandy beaches to enjoy. You can swim, sunbathe, or just relax in the sun.
Go hiking. There are several great hiking trails in the area, including the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. You can hike to the top of the dunes for stunning views of the lake and the surrounding area.
Go wine tasting. The Leelanau Peninsula is home to several wineries. You can go wine tasting and sample some of the local wines.
Visit the towns of Leland and Suttons Bay. Leland and Suttons Bay are charming towns with shops, restaurants, and art galleries. You can spend a day exploring these towns and enjoying all they have to offer.
Take a boat tour. There are several boat tours available that will take you around the lake and show you some of the area's most popular attractions.
